Overall good college, many changes are going to come in academics from year 2018 they are trying to revise the curriculum

i wrote JEE Mains first and declared qualified for writing JEE Advance which is the main entrance for this college There was no interview

Yes the Course i choose is Ocean Engg & Naval Arch and the learning is both practical and research oriented but it needs one's own en devour as the department is little clumsy on this stand but elective options are nice one can take subjects of any departments or any course which he like

Yes many have got internship through Carrier development cell in college and many students get easy intern by recommendation

placements are 80-100%, some who don't get placed they easly get placement from outcampus ,avg package is more than any other college

Fee is very low in comparison to quality the provide, Tuition fee is currently - 1 lakh for semester +some approx 30k for fooding lodgig etc.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
