Course Curriculum Overview
This is one of the prime courses of Delhi University and the most suitable graduation course for commerce students with ample future options generated from this field. Faculty members in our college are good but their focus is only on course completion no one cares about students at all. No of students are really large and the faculty members are fewer so the faculty ratio is very high as 60 students per teacher Faculty members are highly qualified but their teaching method is old school which is only course completion and no practical knowledge outside of books. Exams are conducted basically every 6 months interval and are really easy if you study anyone can pass.
Internships Opportunities
Basically, all the internships and placement opportunities provide only in commerce field companies like hdfc, bajaj finance, icici, lodha hire students but the work hired is basically from the accounting field no big tasks are given so it's advised to have a good postgraduate degree and then apply for jobs.
Fees and Financial Aid
When it comes to fee structure the fees are very low like 50000 for the entire course compared to private colleges which are really high. Scholarships are not good particularly off-campus scholarships are advised.
Campus Life
Campus life is good with plenty of clubs like finance cells, social cells, eco biodiversity cells, management cells etc. The library is really good and the staff is friendly when you want to issue any book it's easily available. Our college is really known for sports and NCC as we have one of biggest hockey grounds, cricket field and indoor sports as well erc
Admission
To be eligible for bcom hons one has to score well in the entrance exam now but in my case, admissions were given on the basis of 12th marks only. Maths is mandatory for the hons course otherwise you can take a program course The admission process is literally slow but all updates are given only online mode but the process should be faster
