Nice review

Actually, I wanted to go for CSE (computer science engineering) but then I came to know about ECE(Electronics and communication), this course makes you eligible to go for both software companies as well as core-based jobs. I cannot tell the exact faculty-student ratio but all I can say is our classes are never off due to the absence of a teacher. Mostly the teachers are well qualified, it is just that one in a few. whom I'll not say are not qualified but they do not put enough effort to teach. We have 4 internal tests and 2 internal practical tests each semester and all the exams are timely conducted as well as the sem exams which are conducted by the Makaut.

Truthfully speaking the provides many opportunities for hands-on experience, workshops, and internships in many companies like IBM but all of these you have to do at your own expense and the college will not provide you with anything.

Placements of this college are between average to good..a number of companies come like TCS, WIPRO, INFOSYS, AMAZON, MICROSOFT, L&T, etc. For the offers the avg offers is 4.7, but this year (2023) a company by the name of Nutanix came and hired 3 students with salaries above 20lakhs CTC.

The fees I would say are neither very high nor very low like some of the government colleges(Jadavpur). Different branches of engineering and different course like btech, bca, mca, etc have different fee structures. For btech in ECE(admitted through entrance exam) is 4.94 lakhs for 4 years. There are some scholarships like SVMCM(Swami Vivekananda scholarship) and Kanyashree for girls and this is for students of West Bengal by the Bengal government. There are also some central government base scholarships which u can look up on the internet.

Ok first of all the campus is not so big at all. It has a reason for it. The college is situated in the heart of the corporate sector of Kolkata i.e in Saltlake Sector 5. So being situated inside of a busy city the campus is not that big unlike some of the big campus colleges situated on the outskirts of the city. Although the campus has small size it's location has its own perks like Being situated in Saltlake Sector 5, it is near TCS, WIPRO, and INFOSYS thus these companies recruit directly from our college. It is well connected to Howrah station, sealdah station, Dharmatala, karunamoyeee bus stand and also to other areas through buses and metro.

Basically give jee mains and Wbjee, if ur rank is good enough u can get this college. There is also the management quota. No, actually the admission process is very quick and without any middlemen. Also, the teachers and staffs are helpful during the process. just one thing is that the college authorities call everyone on the same date thus there is a little bit of chaos.
