- The buildings of college are attractive, specially the library building and west block building.
- Faculty is also good ,you will get supported by the faculties.
- In college there are 4-5 gardens that you like in a garden there is also water fall system.
Dislikes
- Infrastructure of college is not too good, main view of college is not visible from the roads.
- In college there bathrooms and toilets are not good, it is of in bad condition and in very less in number as compared to student ratio.
Course Curriculum Overview
I just wanted to be an engineer so I choosen this course. The faculty is a little good, you will see that boys are more than girls, like in EEE, mech etc branch there is almost no girls, but in cse, csit, csds there are some girls, like if there are 68 students in class then there are 20-25 girls in the classroom. Qualifications of the faculty are good, as everyone knows that nothing is perfect, so also here some faculty have good teaching methods and some have bad teaching methods. There are two exams in a semester, a semester is of 6 months but it is completed in almost 4.5 to 5 months, in a semester one is a mid sem test and after that one is the final semester exam, if you studied little more and do little hard work them semester exam is nothing for you.
Placement Experience
From the 7th semester, students became eligible for campus placement but for that, you should not have any backlogs, if your marks are good and you did not have any backlogs then you will be placed but if your marks are not too good and you have backlogs then you will get some difficulties in your placements. The average package is 2.5 to 3.5 lakhs per annum. Some students got about 10-12 lakhs per annum, but very little for that you have to be too good in your academics. around 80% of students got placed. My plan after getting the degree is to take a job and after making some money I want to start a business, and also try for a defence and force job.
Fees and Financial Aid
I was taken admission in 2021, and in 2021 the fee of cse branch is 108000 per year and the hostel fee of 65000 in 2021, but in 2022 when I am in the second semester then the course fee of CSE will become 125000 per year. there are some campuses that are coming into the college but you did not depend on only the campus, because if you want a good job with high paying then you should also prepare for off-campus.
Campus Life
There is an annual fest celebrated every year, probably in the month of March. In the library there you will get almost every needed book and you will take it home for 7 days, after 7 days you have to reissue that book if you wanted to keep it for more days. If you are non-odia then you will face some problems here, not so big ones but little ones. There is a sports club in the college if you are interested then you will take part in games or sports organised in college. There is a student club.
Admission
If you attained jee main or o jee exam then you are eligible for the course. Application forms, application fees and application dates all are available on Google. You did not get any reservation benefit at the time of admission but after admission when you fill out the scholarship form then you will get the benefit of reservations. some type of improvement that I want to see in the admission process is that at the time of admission someone said to you that some money will be refunded after admission but in some cases, this is not true.
