Review college

The reason for choosing ECE is its complete Engineering branch. Also, there are more scopes of this branch gives us more options after the completion of the course. From this branch, one can either go for higher studies or for placements. If one wants to go in govt. Sector ECE provides ample opportunities. The faculty: student ratio is around 1:50. Nearly all faculties are a doctorate in their specific field of teaching and have more than of 10 years of teaching experience. Exams are conducted timely. Monthly exams are there and then at the end of the semester exams are there. Neither the exams are too easy nor too difficult. It is of moderate level and one can pass it if he/she has completed 50% syllabus by themselves as in college no one is going to teach each and every topic. You have to study on your own.

The college has tied up with Internshala which is one of the top internship-providing platforms in INDIA. Some students got internships in companies by college recommendation and the rest grab internships on their own. Some students are doing internships in Deloitte, HCL, MYNTRA etc.

Students are eligible from the 7th semester for placements. TCS, Wipro, Infosys, HP, Yamaha Motors, Bell, Indian army etc. Visits for campus placements. The highest package is around 10 LPA and an average of ECE is 4 LPA. Around 50 % of students get placed in ECE and 85% of students get placed in CSE. I will go for placement after completing my degree.

The fees of the colleges are the same for the last 2-3 years and if the fees hike it is around a 2-3% increment in fees. There are several scholarships based on your category, merit cum means, financial assistance etc. You have to apply it from NSP(National Scholarship Portal) as per fulfilling eligibility conditions and then be approved by the college.

They organize their fest named EXCELSIOR. In this several events including technical events, cultural events etc. are conducted. It is conducted in the month of May. Besides this several HACKATHONS are there to participate and bring your innovative ideas to the platform. Almost all the required books are available in the library. Several groups and clubs are active in college. Some of them are run by students alone and some are run by teachers and students both. E-cell uiet kuk, parindey are two of them.

Hostel facilities are below average. Light , fans, table , bed and almirah is provided. Meal quality is just average (better from pg but poor from other hostels.) You have to register yourself on Kurukshetra university website for hostel accommodation.

The eligibility criteria are min. 60% in class 10th, 12th. For admission one has to take part in HSTES counselling. The merit is prepared on the basis of the rank of JEE- MAINS. The application form and information brochure for counselling is available on the official website of HSTES. The fee for the application form is Rs. 500 and then one has to pay a counselling fee of Rs. 500 to be eligible for counselling. The counselling fee will be Rs. 200 for girls candidates, and reserved caste candidates. The application form for HSTES counselling will be available after the final results of JEE-MAINS. In HSTES counselling 85% of seats are reserved for candidates having Haryana Domicile or completed class 12th from Haryana. Rest 15% are for other states' candidates. Out 85% of seats some seats are reserved for EWS, SC, ST, OBC KM(Kashmiri Migrants).
