Remarks

Very good college . Has good reputation among others . Good structure . Experienced faculty . Seniors are very helpful as well .

Entrance Preview

Our college don't have any entrance exam for bcom course. Anyone who scores well in class 12 can get admitted. There was no interview process but there was a verification process where we needed to submit some necessary documents . I always wanted to be a part of Heramba Chandra College because few of my para Friends were already there .

Course Curriculum Overview

The course I have chosen is very good. Very happy with the faculty of my course . Seminars Exhibition and Practical Training are common things .

Internships Opportunities

I don't have much knowledge about this as I am not an intern . And I don't have any knowledge wether our college provide any such internship or not . So I don't think I should say much about this.

Placement Experience

Various companies come to your college for placements such as TCS Genpact ICICI bank and many other multinationals companies with good pay packages

College Events

Our college organises a fresher party for all new candidates . We then have our social . We organise fest where other colleges come and participate. Teachers day and saraswati puja is also celebrated

Fee Structure And Facilities

As the College is a government undertaking so the fee structure is not that much . Also the concession scheme is there for the needy. Our present annual admission fee for 2017:18 is around Rs5500.

There are a lot of extracurricular activities such as football cricket basket ball carrom tournaments etc .

As I am not a hostel student I don't have any knowledge about this . But we have our own canteen and the quality of the food is good there along with affordability .

I have never been a part of this so I don't have any idea about this

Exam Structure

Exams are conducted according to the rules and regulations of Calcutta University . Sometimes I feel tired after attending all the classes but overall it is a chill culture

Faculty

The faculty is very good and qualified with a combination of both experience and youth . Very kind and helpful . Always there to help and I think that's what more important in College .

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.
