Course Curriculum Overview
The diverse backgrounds and experiences of our college faculty help enrich our learning. All the staff is well-experienced in their respective domains as well as they are supportive of the students in academic and non-academic pursuits. The exams are held 3 times per semester (6 months) at a gap of approximately 2 months, and with the right preparation they are well-scored by students.
Placement Experience
Students become eligible for placements from the 7th semester. For the previous batch companies like Wipro, ZS Associates, Infosys, Cognizant and so many more companies visited the campus, and alone in the CSE department, the number of offers was 288 (146% of total offers). The highest salary was 32 LPA by Amazon.
Fees and Financial Aid
I find the fee structure to be quite genuine for such an esteemed university. There is no such fee hike on campus. Earlier, in the online period (2020), the fee only included the online tuition portion and now, it has both tuition + hostel charges. Hostel charges also include a 3-time mess fee.
Campus Life
The biggest annual 3-day fest is conducted once a year called 'La Fiestus' in the month of April / May where various artists and bands come together to perform. Other fests include - 'Diksha' (the fresher's party), Murious, Dhun and so many more. There is a sufficient amount of books and journals in the library with multiple copies of each. Classrooms are well equipped with projector screens in order to make learning visually better. Sports events are also widely celebrated on the campus- 'Parakram', the biggest sports day event (3- days) where colleges and universities come together to compete against each other at our campus, also there are time-to-time sports tournaments with excellent awards.
Hostel Facilities
The rooms are well furnished and provided with all the basic amenities. There are singly occupied rooms, 2 - people sharing and 3 - people sharing rooms available in hostels. There is a slight difference between the fee for single occupancy and sharing rooms. The meals in the mess are healthy and tasty with a variety of things to choose from every single day. During the admission process, one can register for the hostel facility.
Admission
In 2020, the admission process was completely online. The admission process takes place on the basis of first, 10+2 merit-based where students must have completed their 10+2 from the recognized state/CBSE/ICSE board with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks and second is JEE-based admission where the merit list is drawn on the basis of All India JEE (main) Rank.
