Course Curriculum Overview

I chose since wanted to opt for civil service in the future and the subjects I opted for my interest. 1:20 was faculty: student ratio. The faculties were qualified and had vast field knowledge. Twice a year, moderately difficult.

Class Size: 30Course Fees: INR 8000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee hike policy was different for different areas of study, usually higher for technical fields, eg; IT, and computer science. I didn't opt for any scholarship, etc since I had civil services in mind. The financial assistance wasn't needed.

Campus Life

The annual cultural fest is KIRAN every year, while ANANDOTSAV is organized by the college's NSS unit annually. The books and journals were freely available for readers to read and carry home. The classroom amenities depend on the course one opts for. cricket, kabaddi, etc. were areas of fun in college. SCOPE, RC KC. Marathi MANDAL is the club.

Admission

Minimum 60% in the science stream and then apply for it online then lists will be circulated for those who all have been able to make it, The forms and all will be there at the college's official website or a person can visit the college and get the information. I am not aware of reservation benefits.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Biotechnology because it is a multidisciplinary field. We get to study not only topics related to biotechnology but also biochemistry, bio physics, bio informatics, bio statistics, etc. Mostly everything that is essential for future exams is taught during the span of 3 years. The topics of the units are taught in depth but the questions asked during exams are comparatively easy as to what all we studied. The frequency of the exam is, 1 internal exam which consists of both mcqs and written exam, the semester exam for each semester and practical exams for each subject. If u have studied then you will be able to attempt the questions.

The Campus Story : the lands of horror.

Placement Experience:

My college gives campus placement placement opportunities typically after 4th semester, which is the 2nd half of the 2nd year. As my college has a partnership with IBM so the standards of campus placement go right up as the placement depends on the curriculum performance of the student so can't really say much for this. If saying as a stalemate, getting a placement is basically confirmed if the student maintains his/her CGPA of 6-7, which shows the consistent of the student in their field.

Life learning by the sea
