Best Engineering College

The campus is small with some area to hang out.There are Volleyball,Badminton and Cricket Courts.I would say it was a good decision taken by me to study here.I had a good college life with lots of memories to take with.

I wrote KEAM.I got a good rank in it and this college was suggested by my brother in law as he studied here. He described this college as the best to me. As I got a rank of 5769 in KEAM there were no other procedures.

Bachelor of Technology in Automobile is really a good course. Practi6cal learning has a good part in our syllabus. There are plenty of research initiatives under process.Vehicle body engineering,Two and three wheeled vehicles,Tractors and farming,Off road vehicles etc are a few among the elective options.

Yes the college do provide internship facilities in major companies around India.The internship experience is really awesome as you get to know what kind of work you are up to after your course and to know more about it.The average stipend amount is around 200 for one day.

The placement scenario is really cool there.About 80% of the students eligible for sitting for placement are placed.Major companies include MRF,TATA ELXI,IBS,QBURST,ENVESTNET,INFOSYS,TCS,ACCENTURE etc.The package averages around 30000 per month.

There are around 6 technical/cultural fests organized in the campus every year.They are all pretty big and among the major college fests in south India. CULT A WAY is the main cultural fest which has an average footfall around 10000.Its is a stage for students from all over India to showcase their cultural skills.It also comprise of pro shows of biggest bands in India.Vishal dadlani,Lucky ali,Sonu kakkar,Jonita Gandhi etc Are few among those who've done shows here. ADVENT is the technical fest with an average footfall of around 7000. All the fests are well organized.The college authorities and other organizations in the college contributes well to these fests.

As SCT is a Government Sponsored engineering college,the fee structure is affordable to students from any family.The fee for one academic year is under 35000 INR.

There are many scholarships available for the students by the college as well as from the Government.I didn't avail any scholarship.The college does help in getting loans.

The college is awesome in terms of extracurricular activities.There are plenty of stages to showcase your inner talent in the college.The arts and sports fests of the college are good examples for it.They are all well organized with good facilities.

I was residing in a hostel outside the campus. Our college provide hostel facility for ladies only. There are no single rooms in hostel.All rooms are sharing ones with 4 students in one room.The rooms are spacious and have space for four people to reside in it.They don't have paying guest facility though.The hostel fee comes under 4000 INR for one person.The food was not that good,i would say it is average.But from the aspect of pricing,it is really average.

The college has a good alumni network.There are alumni associations and other clubs for interacting with the alumni.They assist us in placement time as well.The alumni contributes pretty much for the infrastructure,scholarships and the college fests.

There are two internal series exams and a university exam in one semester which is not at all that tiring.One semester constitute six months.So overall it is a chill culture there.

The faculty here are top class.Only highly qualified professors are given a job there.And yeah they are all pretty well experienced.Most of the teaching staff are interactive and friendly to the students.Standard of teaching is also excellent as the teachers are all highly qualified professionals with good experience in their assigned fields.
