Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course because more job opportunities for IT professionals. I don't know the exact ratio appox 1:20, Most of the faculties are MTech graduates and most of the teachers don't know how to teach. They know the contents but don't know how to teach. And they do not respect the students at all. ( according to me give respect and take respect is the correct way). The term exams were so difficult and last sem question papers were so different from the previous years.
Internships Opportunities
Infosys and a lot of companies from Trivandrum technopark provide internship opportunities but no stipend is provided. A lot of projects are also provided by the companies. The courses mostly provided are Java, python, etc.
Placement Experience
From the 6th semester the students are eligible for campus placements. Only a few students get campus placements. I don't know about the packages offered by the company. My plan after getting the degree is to go abroad for higher studies.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees are very high. Even though I am eligible for the E grants scholarship they haven't reduced a penny in my academic fees. And also they are not giving the scholarship money to me. The college is taking all the stipend money.
Campus Life
Life on campus is boring. The annual fest is only up to 6 pm, even the schools nowadays have their annual fest at at least till 10 pm. In our college tech fest only comes once in two or three years and only one day is given for all the fests. Our college only focuses on studies. A number of textbooks are available in the library. The classrooms are not at all clean. Only the first-year block is clean and good. All the other department blocks are very dirty. Only the ambiance of the campus is good. The infrastructure of the campus looks like a resort.
Admission
Keam entrance exam is required for applying in management and merit seat. Google and also a number of documents are required. OBC, Latin Catholic. A lot of improvements are required. While taking admission the college is collecting our certificates and not giving back until the course is completed. It should be changed.
