Course Curriculum Overview

I choose B.com (Hons) as my stream was in commerce and also I wanted to do further studies in commerce only. The faculty members are very good and the teaching procedure is very good. There are semester-wise exams after every 6 months.

Class Size: 150Course Fees: INR 7160 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for admission and for the whole course if pretty much affordable rather than other colleges. It is basically a very good college in a small range. Just pay the fees on time and everything will be very nice in the college.

Campus Life

Basically, we used to say that school life is the best life and all. But trust me college is also a place where you get attached to. Especially when the freshers welcome happens it's the best experience ever.

Admission

The Admission process was really very smooth. It was basically in online mode and all the procedure was smooth. You can go to the college website to take admission in further years. And for commerce, it is the best college so far.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. The exams were conducted very soon in few semester only giving 3 months for the students to prepare . the professors were good at teaching and somehow used to complete the syllabus

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.
