Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I choose this course because I wanted to avail course which is similar to btech. The faculties of my college are very cooperative and they are in good numbers. All Faculties are assistant professors. They all have unique teaching methods, and most of them use practical applications to make us understand the topic perfectly. It is very difficult to get good grades in the Pune University examination because they are one of the most reputed universities in Maharashtra state. All exams are conducted on a gap of 6 month

Fees and Financial Aid

I haven't heard of any hike in fees till now Most of the facilities related to study are available in college. I got an internship in college for creating different projects for first years students by taking advice from facilities. For my internship, I get 9000 payments each month. I will only last for 4 months

Campus Life

3

I don't remember the name of the annual function but I'll tell you that my college's annual functions are not soo good to enjoy. It takes place in the month of February and most of the cultural events take place in that fest which cost us nothing. The library of our college has only study books and newspapers available. No space for novels and off-topic books in the library of my college. All types of social groups are encouraged by faculties and I was heavily involved in NSS activities as the college provides funds for clean drives and social gatherings.

Admission

My course name is bsc. cs. My college required Above 60 per cent to avail this course. The admission procedure is way more simple than most other colleges in Pune, and the staff of the admission department are very helpful. The only problem I faced their is they do not receive payment of fees by UPI method. They accept bank transfers, cash or check. They provide scholarships based on the percentage of 12, one of my friends gets almost a 45% of discount because he get 97% in 12. In some rare cases, they provide scholarships to children of defence personnel and sometimes tot he people who belong to some specific cast. My college has no reserved seats for any categories, they provide admission on the basis of come first get first. One more thing is that they provide a 5000 discount if I pay my all fees in one pay. The admission process could be more smooth if my college website is alone able to handle all procedures, with no need for a personal visit to the college required

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Biotechnology because it is a multidisciplinary field. We get to study not only topics related to biotechnology but also biochemistry, bio physics, bio informatics, bio statistics, etc. Mostly everything that is essential for future exams is taught during the span of 3 years. The topics of the units are taught in depth but the questions asked during exams are comparatively easy as to what all we studied. The frequency of the exam is, 1 internal exam which consists of both mcqs and written exam, the semester exam for each semester and practical exams for each subject. If u have studied then you will be able to attempt the questions.

Placement Experience:

My college gives campus placement placement opportunities typically after 4th semester, which is the 2nd half of the 2nd year. As my college has a partnership with IBM so the standards of campus placement go right up as the placement depends on the curriculum performance of the student so can't really say much for this. If saying as a stalemate, getting a placement is basically confirmed if the student maintains his/her CGPA of 6-7, which shows the consistent of the student in their field.
