Highest package 47lpa at Microsoft got by 2 students
Low fees even for ssc courses i.e. Rs 76500/yr
Though infrastructure is poor, it is improving to become like NIT since 1500cr is funded by the state govt

Dislikes

Strict in Academics, busy time schedule and very strict to 75% attendance. We almost didn't get time for other skills.
No student union is allowed. College members doing their monopoly.
No facility to check End semester answer sheet after paying for re-evaluation

Course Curriculum Overview

Since I have an interest in software I joined this course. The faculty-student ratio is 1:78. Faculty is completed their M.Tech and some even Ph.d. Every 4-5 month term exams are conducted and difficult to pass since, checking is strict.

Class Size: 78Course Fees: INR 76500 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internships from Microsoft, Amazon, TCS, Infosys, Wipro, etc. are available. I have no idea about the projects since I have just completed my 1st year. Please consider the reviews given by my senior batchmates.

Placement Experience

I see my seniors from 3rd yr(5th sem or 6th sem) applying for placements. One student from IT and CSE each got placed in Microsoft and renowned companies like Amazon, TCS, and Infosys approach our campus for placements. The highest package is 47LPA(got by 2 students) and the average is 8LPA in IT and CSE. 80% of graduates are getting placed. I have planned to apply for M.tech in IITs or Foreign universities after my graduation.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees- Rs.45000/yr for normal courses in EE (Electrical Engg), E&I (Electronics and Instrumentation), ME (Mechanical Engg), CE (Civil Engg), Textile Engg. Rs 78500/yr for ssc courses in CSE (Computer Sc), IT (Information Technology), BT (Biotechnology), Fashion & Technology Rs 10000 scholarship for general category study based on jee main rank in 1st year. Campus Life

Since it is a government college so fest is amazing, this time Ankit Tiwari came to the fest. Every book related to academics is available in the library. Almost all classrooms are non AC and infrastructure lacks in classrooms. Students' participation in extracurricular activities is damn high. There are a lot of clubs(especially tech clubs) successful in producing many techy students.

Admission

Anyone who applied for JEE Main or OJEE can join this college. You can apply for this college through OJEE counseling. After the application is completed you have to reach this college offline and submit your details, you will get your user ID and password for registration and fee through www.outr.erp.in. Yes, our reservation benefits for state govt students, sc, st, female, and PWD.

Course Curriculum Overview:

For csit the subjects kee changing accroding to the trendy stuffs that are currently going on but it was really hard to keep with that when all your subjects are changed and you have o idea or previous year qs to geta reference from. Exams are conducted continously with no gaps and its not a easy stuff students get lot of stress but still somehow manage.

A Complete Review of KIIT University from a Student's View

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at KIIT are quite good, especially for us the CSE students.The eligibility criteria for campus placements starts from 7th semester. Many well-known companies visit the university every year like TATA Consultancy Services , Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Capgemini.The average package offered is around 6-8 lakhs and highest package offered around per yr avg is 50-60 lakhs.The percentage of students getting placements is around 90% plus in average per yr. After completing my degree, i plan to work in software industry and gain more experience in the field of technology

Placement Experience:

I would rate the placements at my college as 3 out of 5. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the sixth or seventh semester, and a few well-known companies do visit the campus every year. The placement cell helps with basic training like resume building and interviews, and many students, especially from IT branches, manage to secure jobs. At the same time, the average salary packages are not very high and top roles are limited, so a lot of students also focus on skill development, off-campus opportunities or higher studies after completing their degree

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.

Placement Experience:

So from 7th semester plcements are starting.Various Tech and Non Tech companies are also coming like TCS ,Accenture, Cognizant, Delloitte, InfoSys, KFinTech, Incture, GyanSys, Iserveu for Tech branches. and PRADAN, Aditya Birla etc for Non tech branches. Students also getting offers from OffCampus like RedHat ,CISCO ,Amazon ,Google. From On Campus Highest Package goes upto 12 to 15LPA and lowest is 4.5 but average is 5 to 6 LPA which is comperable. And about almost all are who are opting for placements got placed eventually.

After 6th semester the students get eligible for company placement. There are huge companies visited every year for the placement and many big MNCs like Amazon offers 100seats , Wipro offers 200, detollite offers 100, microsoft offers 10, ITC offers 150 , Infosys offers 300, TCS offers 200, Flipkart offers 150 and many more . Every year almost 80% of the students get placed at a good company with a minimum of 4 lakhs . After getting the degree I am planning to get placed in a multi national company like Amazon or Microsoft

Placements are ok but majority of the placement are for the IT and Cse sectors, but there are some core companies which offers a good packages. Around 40-50 % students pare placed in the companies and more over most of the students are up for the higher studies and cracking GATE exam.

See basically you placement depends on you .If you work hard you will get placed with a good package.In our college last year the avg package for CSE was around 13 Lakh per annum and highest was about 39 lakh per annum.Companies like Amazon,oracle Microsoft etc visited our college .After 4 th or 5 th semester i Think we are all capable of getting placed .

A Good University

First of all mainly because of the location it is situated. It is in the Captial Region. I got some seats in NIT-R but didn't go because the seats that i got is all 5 year course and i don't want to study for longer period of time. So the admission process is quite simple.
