Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this stream IT because in this stream all the faculty members are very good supportive. The exams in this college are very easy as all the students must pass the examination in small time of studying.

Placement Experience

The placement at this college is very good. Famous companies like Amazon, cognizant, Capgemini, and TCS visit our college campus and the placement will vary year to year but the average package at this college is 4 lakhs per annum

Fees and Financial Aid

The feast structure is not so low it is around 500000 lakhs in 4 years, but the students aslo get many scholarships like the Swami Vivekananda scholarship, also a Rolls Royce scholarship will be available for girls

Campus Life

In this college, we get a large lash green campus all kinds of books are available in the Library in this college. Every winter college will organise sports competitions like badminton, cricket, football etc.

Admission

Students must have a 60% + score in class 12 aslo they should have a good rank in wbjee or jee mains examination. Students will easily find the all details about the college on the college website of JIS College of Engineering on Google. It is a great college with good infrastructure and faculty. All facility members are highly qualified also the placement at this college is decent.

Placement Experience:

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

I choose this college because this college was good in among all the average colleges in West Bengal leaving the top colleges. The placement is also good. So for all this reason I choose this college. I wanted to go for heritage but my name didn't came in cutoff.
