Actually this college is in jammu and kashmir so there become partiality between the homestate students and other state students.

No, our college is not provided any internships in summer and winter. This is bad thing of this college.so I can not give the any other details about that.

Placement Experience

Almost 40-50 % of total student is placed in Youdly and Wipro and L&T infotech and L&T construction and many other. Average package is around 4-5lakh.

All the cultural programs is organized. All the faculty and students participate in all programs.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee is around 108000 rupees per year of my college. I am belong from medium family and my father has own business so I am affordable.

Yes, college provide the scholarship and help in getting loan. Scholarship is provided for SC and St SC students.

All the games are available in college playground and there is also a recreation hall for other game and entertainment.

Yes, I am residing in hostel.

My interaction is normal with my alumni. Yes collage provide a proper platform for students alumni interaction.

Yes, sometimes I feel tired.... Anyway it's important part of success.

The standard of this college faculties is too good and they are passout from the best colleges of abroad. Many of teachers are Google schoolers. And the interaction is too good.

The review

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is quiet relevant it covers all the important subjects and topics.I chose the Ece branch as the demand of semiconductors is rising in the future. The curriculum perpares us well for real world applications. The course teaches us a lot of outdated concepts but it misses out to teach about what is happening in the world right now. So the course can involve a lot of topics that are in trend.

From the starting of 4th year ,we are eligible to sit in the placement and the ratio is almost 65-70 percent percentage head and for it and cse - increff, microsoft ,make my trip ,paypal ,and visa and for civil - L&T and many sales company

My point of view on NIT Srinagar

Placement Experience:

In 7th semester we become eligible for placements and sit for on campus interviews . In mechanical ONGC , IOCL ,JSW , physics wallah , vedanta and for cse and IT there are companies like paypal , microsoft (internship) , increff etc come for on campus placement.

Placement Experience:

A student's perspective

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like google microsoft facebook vedanta have visited and offered an average package of around 10 lpa. Highest package is of 45 lpa and lowest of 8 lpa. There is 100% placements of students from core branches. After i get my degree i want to work in a tech company and learn about technology.

The life of student at NIT Srinagar

Placement Experience:

The college placemts is good the average is areound 10lakh per annum , the comapnies that visit for placements and internships are VISA , MICROSOFT, PAYPAL, GOLDMANSACCHS, NVIDIA, CISCO, WIPRO , L&T , PHYSICS WALLAH, INCREFF , other startups etc. My plan is to crack on-campus placement from a good company.

NIT Srinagar - A Beautiful place but Underwhelming Experience

Placement Experience:

Placemets start right from your 7th semester. Most comapnies that would come here would be like vedanta , ashok leyland etc etc who mainly do mass hiring, th no of offers are quite low as for durig my time most companies qul do diversity and hiring would only select girls and the girls were low in numbers as compared to the boys so each girl recieved atleast 2-3 offers while rarely a boy would even rev=cieve a single offer. The highest package was offered by Vedanta but it was 13 lpa in ct in hand it would be arond 5-6 lpa , the average package was also the same around 5-6 lakhs per annum. Percentage of students placed would be around 30 percent but they inflated the numbers heavily but showing only the students who were eleigible as boys were mostle ineligible. My plans are to look for masters somewhere abroad.

I got this college on the basis of my jee mains rank through csab counselling. Due to some medical issue i was not able to study properly and got little less score.
