Course Curriculum Overview
Bsc. Finance as a course is very rigourous and concept heavy. First year includes all the foundational subjects and from second year onwards you will be studying core finance subjects. The college has tough internal examinations and a very harsh and high competetive marking and passing scheme. The faculty is okayish but u will have to study by your own majorily.
Internships Opportunities
The college has compulsory internships at the end of each year, which allows the student to have a practical experience of the industry. Social Internship at the end of first year and corprate internships at the end of second year. The college does provide internships or the students can find it themselves also.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees is pretty expensive, around 3,25,000 for a year, making it one of the most expensive colleges offering finance courses. And if u fail a year u will have to again deposit the whole year fees. I dont think NMIMS offers scholarships.
Campus Life
The college is fun people are interactive and some or the other thing is going on every week. There are aroud 10 committees and all of them host some or the other event every week. All the sports enthhusiast will be bored though. Not a single sports facility. The infrastructure is top-notch, The building and classrooms looks like 5 star hotels to be honest.
Admission
The eligibility of the course is that u must be a 12th pass with 60% aggregate percentage. The student must have maths in their +2 as a subject. The students have to go on NPAT website to apply for the entrance examination and book a slot for the same. the student can give 3 attempts (maximum). The entrance examination includes sections like logical reasoning, Quants, and verbal-ability. The exam includes higher mathematics also, but the overall difficulty is moderate. It's quite easy to get into the college as u have to only excel in the entrance exam and u will be provided admission.
