- Institute has also provided an counselor so that if any student needs any help they can go there and have mentorship.
Dislikes
- Campus infrastructure is very poor right now , it is only having 4 buildings till right now
- Managing the classes of 1400+ students is getting difficult for the institute in only one academic building which is of 5 floors.
- Looks like we are living in a jungle outskirts of the city .24 hour transport facility is not available.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this couse because AI & ML is in boom right now with the advent of ChatGPT. Faculties are good but the course of AIML have old concepts which are not relevant right now. Faculties are having good qualification from NIT's anf IIT's . College provides good research internship opportunities to students who want to go in research. 6 month semester is there overall out of which 1 month is holiday and 2 sessionals exam are held and one end sem. Exams are decent and not so difficult to pass. Anyone can score 7 cgpa easily
Internships Opportunities
Our college provide research internship opportunities from all over India. I don't have much idea about the stipend but for outsiders people have to pay for the internship and for college students is free. There many different fileds internships are available like machine andd deep learning, Internet of things, Ecteronic and signals and many other topics.
Placement Experience
From 4th yr students became eligible for campus placements. Name of companies : Goldman Sachs, TCS , Rakuten , Adobe , Infosys , IBM , Delhivery , L&T infotech and many companies. Highest package : 85 lpa Average package : 14lpa By the data 2023 , 85% of students are placed My plans after the degree is that I wanna be an entrepreneur and I will be leading my startup.
Fees and Financial Aid
College fees is generally high as compared to IIT's and NIT's . If you are in general category you have to pay 14 Lakhs. I am form Maharashtra so I am getting Tution fee waiver freeship in which I got 80% tution fees back. Students here start getting internships from 3rd yr and with 30 to 40 thousand stipend
Campus Life
Tech fest is organized in the month of October (Tantra Fiesta) Cultural fest is organized int he month of Feb (Abhivaykati) Insitute Gathering Annual Sports fest (January) Library and reading rooms are available in the academic block Classrooms are air conditoned and very modernised. There are many clubs in our college like drama , music , orator(public speaking), Dotslash (coding). Sports infrastructure is very weak in our college .There is no proper ground for anything. We have temporary cricket , volleyball , basketball and badminton courts .
Hostel Facilities
Our Hostel rooms are having beds , cupborads and lan port cable for internet accessibility. Wifi are provided by the institute. Meals are not so delicious but are healthy in nutrition ,have wide varieties of food available. Mess food is pure vegetarian , no non-veg mess is over here. Registration process of hostel is aslo online and you can do all the things online.
Admission
Addmission process was very simple , within 2 to 3 hours my addmission process was completed. To take addmission in this college you must secure atleast 97% percentile in JEE Mains, then you will get CSE core branch. I scored 86% percentile in JEE Mains and I got addmission in CSE(AIML) branch.Reservation students can esaily get addmission in college . You can find the application form in IIIT Nagpur website.
