Course Curriculum Overview

The course is very student friendly and the faculty are very supportive educated experience and qualified in regular classes there is ratio of 1:60 but it flip class there is the division in the class into two groups and the ratio is 1:30

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 470000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure for the btech course starts from 470000 to 550000, In this year there is a hike in fee but students can get scholarships upto 60000 rs per year like SVMCM AIKYASHREE and NSP and many more

Campus life is very student friendly and stressless campus is well vibrant and dynamic providing students with a well rounded learning experience with the right mindset to develop their skills in a timely manner

The eligibility criteria wqs 10+2 paseed or equivalent and have a good rank in WBJEE or JEE mains You can find the admission details in the college website.There are reservations for ST SC and OBC in the college

Placement Experience:

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

I choose this college because this college was good in among all the average colleges in West Bengal leaving the top colleges. The placement is also good.
