Course Curriculum Overview
I have chosen this course cause getting a job in this sector is comparatively easier than any course or field. Although I feel like you should go for this course if you were comfortable with the computer subject in your school days. In my ICSE board school, I was introduced to the programming language JAVA in class 9. Although we hadn't read in so much detail the language but basics until arrays and strings and a minor touch of data structures like queue and stack etc. still loved to develop arithmetical and mathematical logic which was fun.
Internships Opportunities
The internship opportunities are less and the ones available doesn't provide a good stipend. You have to rely on LinkedIn and Internshala if you are looking for any internship. The internship session are open only for third year students.JI.
Placement Experience
The Placements are average and are on the decline from this year as I have heard from the seniors. But if you do enough hard work throughout your college days and do coding on a regular basis you can badge a good job with a good package for sure.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees structure is quite higher than its counterpart colleges. Alsot this year they have hiked the fees. For 2022 students it was 4.7 lakhs total fees throughout four years but this year they have increased it to direct to a wholesome amount of 5.5 lakhs.for If you have at least 60 per cent marks in your HS exam you would easily get Swami Vivekananda scholarship by WB govt.
Campus Life
Annual Fest and Tech fest and Sports event keep taking place at the college. All the books of your circullum you would surely get in the library. There are lot of clubs in the college not all are so active but photography club and sport club are quite active.
Admission
The admission process was smooth and hassle-free. I got an allotment in the CST branch in the first and second rounds of counseling through WBJEE. I visited the college and the staff were very helpful in my process for sitting in the next round of counseling then I got to the CSE branch in the mop-up round and all the formalities were done in minutes.
