Campus area is pretty nice.It is pretty big sports activities and fest.
Behaviour of teachers are good. They are helpful.
Exams are easy even you can pass only studying one night before exams

Dislikes

The food is not so good also you get no options.
No popular artists visit our college fest
If you were not so good in Bengali then you may face difficulties

Course Curriculum Overview

As I am interested in coding and computer applications that's why I chose this course. The faculty-to-student ratio is good. The faculty has done Ph.D. in their respective fields. The difficulty level of the exams depends on the curriculum of the course.

Class Size: 180Course Fees: INR 119250 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is divided into 8 parts as per the terms . There are many scholarship opportunities at the college. The most common scholarship is the Swami Vivekananda merit cum scholarship and there are also other scholarships available.

Campus Life

Life on campus is good. The annual fest is Majistic which is conducted in the month of April and the tech fest is Ji's tech fest. Almost all the books related to our course are available in the library. There are many sports and extracurricular activities that take place in college like Ji's runners-up.

Admission

The admission process is very smooth without any difficulties. The list of documents required was shared by the college. I attempted the WBJEE exam and then through the counseling process, I had taken admission. Currently this year the opening rank is 15000.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

I choose this college because this college was good in among all the average colleges in West Bengal leaving the top colleges. The placement is also good.
