Likes

College campus is good. Teachers are good and caring and friendly.
Overall placement is good. Around most students got placed.
There are so many branches with good facalty.

Dislikes

As an IIT aspirants this is worthless for me.
Campus is not so good as I expect .So overall good.
They are growing there fees every year.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have a curiosity about technical things. So, I just want to learn computer-related technology. I just want to learn about coding, ethical hacking, and so on. So, I have joined this college with this course .facalty and student ratio is good enough.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 470000 per year

Placement Experience

From 6 th semester, students became eligible for campus placements. There are so many companies like Wipro, IBM, TCS, etc came and offer a great salary. Around 90% of students got placed. After getting a degree I shall first do a job under a company for the experience. Then I will create my own business.

Fees and Financial Aid

The total cost for the fees is 470000 rs. They can provide such as this great engineering study material at a low price. There is no such scholarship for students. After completing the course student got placed around 90%. And highest package on campus is around 13LPA.

Campus Life

In this college, many cultural fest and TECH fests like 2K23 happen. There are a lot of books available in the library. The classroom is quiet good. Other extracurricular activities like sports are like football, and cricket tournaments organized here. And the socialization is quite good.

Admission

I have given the WBJEE exam. After getting a rank card I got into this college through the counseling process of WBJEE. I am currently pursuing B.Tech in computer science and engineering from this college. I am in the third semester now.

Placement Experience:

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

I choose this college because this college was good in among all the average colleges in West Bengal leaving the top colleges. The placement is also good. So for all this reason I choose this college. I wanted to go for heritage but my name didn't came in cutoff.
