Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because I opt for the science stream in class 11th and I started liking coding and programming more than PCM so I opt for Btech in CSE. The teachers are very good they are so helpful too. Exams are conducted on time.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 110000 per year

Placement Experience

The placement in our college is good enough. Here the average package is 400000. Companies like Amazon, cognizant, TCS, Capgemini, Wipro, etc do come here. In 2023 some of the students got offers from 5-6 companies. And the highest package is around 1500000.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure in 2023 has increased from 4.7 lakh( total for 2022 students) to 5.3 lakh for Cse branch I don't know much about other branches . you can also get the scholarship from the swami Vivekanand scholarship portal also for the Bengal domicile so you can grab it and start your btech currier in this college.

Campus Life

The campus is good having a large playground, gym, area, canteen, library, auditorium and many more, fliped learning class is also available in the college so you will feel free to ask questions and understand the deep concept of the study.

Admission

I appeared for jee mains exam and got a score of about 80 percentile and then through counselling I got a CSE btech seat In JIS COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING. I just went to the college with my seat allotment letter and then they filled out my college form and then I paid the semester fees and I got admission

Placement Experience:

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

I choose this college because this college was good in among all the average colleges in West Bengal leaving the top colleges. The placement is also good. So for all this reason I choose this college. I wanted to go for heritage but my name didn't came in cutoff.
