- The faculty members are so cooperative,they always come to class at right time,try their best to understand the students their topic ,and helps them to acquire a good marks in the examination,they provide notes also.
- The college authority organizes different programs both cultural and educational like seminar or workshop which helps the students to understand the corporate life or social life , the constitruction.
- There are many scope for the students to apply for external educational courses,they got marks and they are added to their MAAR points which helps in their placement process,their participation makes their character more socially strong
Dislikes
- In the first two semesters the time is so less, students have to face problem to complete their syllabus and sit for exam
- The Lift don't always work properly all day
- There are AC in the classroom but they don't work properly
Course Curriculum Overview
I am from information technology. The course curriculum is also good having a proper syllabus, but the only problem is that we just had 3months for the second semester to complete a 6 months syllabus which was a problem. But the faculty members are so good, they are helpful, and caring towards the students.
Internships Opportunities
There are various scopes of internships both (paid and no paid). At the beginning of the first semester, a student can apply for their internship, in this case, their mentor helps them. Besides the college also arrange some internship opportunities.
Placement Experience
I don't have that much knowledge but other departments, but for the computer science and information Technology, and electronics department, the placement process is good. Different companies come, though core companies come less than the others.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total fee for the course for our batch is 470000/-. In between the course, the fees are decided into some parts.the first two sem fees are above 60,000/- and the rest are below 60000/- . There also students get the scholarship opportunities of SVMCM, and they can also participate in the paid internship process. The campus is good.
Campus Life
The campus life all over is good .there are various cultural clubs that arrange different programs for the student members, which is good for their character development. The college also arranges various cultural events and sports events both on a college and intercollege basis, which is also good.
Admission
I sat for WBJEE 2022 after my higher secondary examination in the same year. My rank was not that good it was 55000, then I got admitted directly to JIS College of Engineering Kalyani to study for a bachelor's degree. There were the criteria to having a minimum of 60% marks in higher secondary and having a science background. I got the admission form from the admission cell and got admitted to the college. Well, I didn't have many problems but some of my friends had to face problems, and there is also the donation problem. There fore I wish to look forward to seeing much improvement in the admission process.
