Course Curriculum Overview
I was admitted to the Information and Technology department, My department faculty is awesome they help me if I have any problem. Other faculty are very helpful. And the course curriculum to very helpful to grown up.
Placement Experience
During the placement provided in this collage in last year's 7th sem, many companies (Amazon, Declotns, MindTree e.t.c.) came to visit the collage and give an offer. Some students are getting a maximum of five jobs.
Fees and Financial Aid
I don't know why they hike fees every year it's a minus point. and they provide all kinds of private and govt scholarships (SVMCM) for deserving students. And placement ratio is 77%, and every year the ratio.
Campus Life
The JIS College of Engineering is the largest in the vicinity of Kolkata as a campus area. There are many options for choosing clubs e.g. (social, photography, coding club, etc.) And they provide a digital library.
Admission
The admission process at JIS College of Engineering is a two-step process. The first step is to qualify for one of the entrance exams accepted by the college. The second step is to participate in the MAKAUT counseling process. The entrance exams accepted by JIS College of Engineering are JEE MAIN, WBJEE, and AMPAI. Students must secure a minimum of 45% in 10+2 in PCM to be eligible to take these exams.
