i like the campus and flipped class.

Dislikes

lots of classses to attend teachers are not.
understanding. lots of assignments.
lack of flexibility and lack of guidance from teacher.

Course Curriculum Overview

i was very interested in this course. faculty student ratio is good there are 30 students per teacher in lab and flipped class.. teachers are p.h.d or master's graduated mostly.. we have to study and focused on the course.

we have to face lots of difficulty in finding internship college does not help or give us any knowledge regarding this .not so innovative technology in college and nobody helps . lack of opportunities

from 5th to 6th students do internship and in 7th semester max students got placed .. wipro,cisco, Amazon,tcs highest 10l.p.a average 5.l.p.a 60 to 70 percentage of students get placed. going for masters

Fees and Financial Aid

There is a swami vivekananda scholarship for West Bengal students we get 60k and have eligibility criteria and have. jobs average scale is 5l.p. abut some students get 10. l.p.a job in Amazon. The highest is 18. l.p.a these are all on-campus placements.

Campus Life

Tech Fest is conducted in September and it's a really good one. there are many social groups. there are no such good amenities in the classroom but labs are average. Books are available free of cost for every student.

Admission

we have to give wbjee or Jee mains exam to get eligible to our college courses.. the application form us found on the college website by reservation we can get a higher branch seat with the low ranking. no

Placement Experience:

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

THERE ARE FAR BETTER OPTIONS

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

I choose this college because this college was good in among all the average colleges in West Bengal leaving the top colleges. The placement is also good. So for all this reason I choose this college. I wanted to go for heritage but my name didn't came in cutoff.
