Remarks

College is overall good. Infrastructure should be improved now. Central library of the college is best in all college.Campus is best. I love it.

The entrance exam for getting admission in Government College of Engineering, Aurangabad Is MHT CET which is conducted by Maharashtra board. No interview process.

Course I have chosen is Information Technology. Maximun companies comes here in IT sector so more benifit obtain by it. Research initiatives also given by college.

Internships Opportunities

No internships given by college as it is government. So we students do internships in summer and winter vacations to get experience in maketing and sells.

Placement scenario is very best in our college. 90 % pf students get placed every year here TCS, Infotech many companies comes and pick 80% students every year.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Their is less fee taken by government College of engineering, Aurangabad and it is so affordable. Hostel fee is only 1600 per year.

AS FOR PLACEMENT , TNP TRIES REALLY HARD TO GET STUDENT PLACED. MULTIPLE COMPANY VISIT THE CAMPUS. NAMELY INFOSYS, ACCENTURE, COGNIZANT, TCS, CAPEGEMINI, AMDOCS, HCL, TECH MAHINDRA, ETC MULTUPLE APTITUDE ASSESMENT AND CODING ASSESMENT ARE CONDUCTED BY COMPANIES. MANY STUDENT GET PLACED AT AVERAGE OF 4.5 . OFFER ARE LIKE 3LPA, 3,5LPA.4,5LPA, 7LPA, MAX 9LPA OR THIS YEAR BUT STILL IN MY OPNION STUDENT ARE NOT PUTTING ENOUGH EFFORT IN THEIR PLACEMENT DRIVES AND HAVE VERY CASUAL ATTITUDE. SO PERCENTAGE IS AROUND 40% AND I'LL NOT BLAME COLLEGE FOR THIS PERCENTAGE ATLEAST NOT TNP, CUZ FOR SOME REASON STUDENT ARE CLEARING FAILING HERE AS FOR ME I'M PLANNING FOR FURTHER STUDIES

College review for better selection for better opportunities in future

Placement Experience:

From 4th Year students are eligible for campus placements. The companies that visites my college campus are accenture, capgemini, tcs and many more . The highest package students get places are 12-14 Lakhs per annum and average pakage is around 4-5 lakhs per annum . The percentage of students get places is around 60-80% and majority of them are from CE and IT . Many of them try to get placed from off campus due to their desired companies they want to join or they want more packages

SAKEC- best college ever

Placement Experience:

Sakec have many job/internship opportunities. The college provides different trainings and intership opportunities. Currently, in 2023-24, 42 students have alreday been placed with 25 LPA (highest CTC offered). College have tie-up with many reknowed companies. The highest salary package offered is 24 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA. My plan after getting the degree of bachelor of engineering is to go for masters and acknowledge more and more knowledge in engineering filed. And be my level best. I'm also looking forward for opportunities to go abroad for my mtech degree. Future my expectations form college are High. I'm sure being a student of such prestigious college with help me alot.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I have genuine interest in civil engineering. The faculty student ration is 1:50. Our faculties are well qualified they are master's degree holders in design and structural engineering. Some of them are PhD holders and many of them have done their master's from NIT and IIT. Term exams are scheduled after every 2 months. it is easy to pass because it consists of 30 marks only.

After 6th semester, Students are eligible for campus placements. ONGC GAIL SAIL IOCL etc are companies with an average package of 10 to 12 lakh per annum. Placements are more than 80% ,it mainly depends on the skills you develop. Not as FireMan, as Fire Officer at least.

I'm choosing this course because I'm interested in programming languages. Faculty members here are at the best level. They are very supportive and knowledgeable. They made lectures most interactive. All faculty members are well-qualified and experienced. The course is very vast but the teaching faculty cover it through their extra lectures and practicals.

Life in GECA, not so good but still you enjoy it.

Due to the reputation of being a government college and autonomous status and also due to city vibes, I chose this one. I was getting private pune engineering colleges but the fees and other expenses dosen't make sense to the features they provide. You need to give mhtcet examand score maybe 90+ percentile to make your sure your place. And cutoff for tech branches of cse, it, ENTC is pretty high. Minimum 95 percentile is required....Read More
