Course Curriculum Overview

The college curriculum is excellent with respect to studies . Regular tests are conducted i.e,15days once. Well experienced faccalty is there. They are very supportive. They clarify our doubts in clg timings Boys : girls is almost 1:1

The college provides 1 year internship for every one. They keep on posting us to different hospitals for good exposure. The college management even takes us to different villages for some social awareness program

Two types 1) govt seat Fees 141000 2)private seat Fees. 10lakh Others same for both Miscellaneous. 45000 Hostel and mess. 98000 No scholarship and financial assistance are given by college But one can get different scholarship by government schemes

College is mainly focused on studies so fests are minimum But all national and religious festivals are celebrated Spacious library with latest books are available Large air conditioned classroom with capacity of 300 students are present Good sports facilities with indoor and outdoor playground

We get a three sharing room which is well maintained. We get study table , chair,and cupboard as well According to me we get best food , but completely vegetarian Registration fo hostel is done along with admission process Nearby pg are also available

To get into this college one has to write neet exam and undergo councelling process conducted by KEA One can also enter this college through management quota . If we talk about KEA councelled seats there are two types 1)govt seat 1.4lakh fees 2)private seat 10lakh fees

curriculum is designed to be highly relevant and comprehensive for modern medical practice.Early Clinical Exposure is One of the strongest aspects of the curriculum is introducing students to patients in their very second year. The final year of the curriculum—the Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship (CRRI) is effective it prepares students for the high-pressure environment of Indian healthcare, making them very capable of handling emergencies and outpatient departments (OPD ). Students feel that lectures are still too focused on passive PowerPoint presentations.Rigorous schedule, integrating "Life Skills" or "Stress Management" modules more formally into the foundation course would be helpful. The university exams (RGUHS) are generally fair but require a very high level of descriptive writing and practical precision.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the classes are taken regularly in preclinical and paraclinical subject and some of clinical subjects as well. these are slidepresentation, demonstration and group discussions. there is great learning opportunities. case discusions are done in clinical postings. integrated leaning is not much practiced and would be drawback. library timings are not suitable at all.

Mbbs course is one of the high respective course. We want to face many struggles during exams. But in future we will become excellenct doctor. Exams are not that much tough, but still passing marks in mbbs course is 40% (cbme curriculum). Last year it was 50% passing marks. We want to practice diagram for anatomy and physiology we want to write short notes.

Medical college with the best infrastructure in India

The curriculum is great. It is followed as per RGUHS ( Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences) guidelines. There are currently RS4, RS5 and RS6 curriculums. Each curriculum is different in it's own way. The pattern of subjects, exams and NEXT exam has changed as per each year and curriculum.

We have internals once in around 3 months and we have yearly final exams. The average of the three internals is added to the final marks to declare the results. The exams are of average difficulty. Not too difficult to pass.

Placement Experience:

The first batch of students is passed out in this year from our college. Now they are doing their house sutgency. Besides they are preparing for their pg studies. Most of the students will opt for higher studies like MS, MD, etc. Our hospital is average with average cases. And specialty hospital construction work is going on.

I myself did not apply to colleges per day but had got a college through karnataka counselling and in the first round I was given kvg suklia which in my opinion is a good college but is placed in a very rural area so it has no patient load and therefore I don't think it is a good idea to go there . To get admission you must have eligibilty in Neet and also you should clear the state merit cut-off which depends on the state merit of that year...Read More
