A great lifetime learning

Only good words i have for my college.Its a great university,big capus,big library very reputed.

CET rank: 1616i was fascinated with this course and really wanted to be associated with gndu so i took the course.

It covered all subjects related to engieering in the first year from second year it was purely food technology.It covered major aspects of food industry like canning, preservation,fat content and other content measurements of processed foods, frozen section, cereal technology and much more.

No stipend offered to B.tech. But i had internship with britannia delhi.It offered great knowledge.Some phd scholars were there in my department in gndu. They might be getting stipend but i am not aware of that.

Its great. I was placed in a software firm named infosys from campus placements other than that nestle had come for interviewing and took few students.But they need to improve in this area and need to call more companies for in campus placements.

Jashan andzonal youth festival all years for 4 years.We had annual sports events.They used to be on a very large scale. I participated in one act play,sports,dance etc.

Its feasible and was less that other colleges was around 50000 per year at that time excluding the hostel costs.But in other colleges it was close to 75000.

Yes they offer tution fee rebate to poor students. Its a fair system i tried to get it once but they rejected me looking at my branded adida shoes and explained to me that there could be other more needy students than me.

I lot of extra curricular activities are there. It serves all types of interests student centre has has gym, play room, theatre workshops.Annual events have debates, dance, group discussions and what not.

Mess food was good. I was a day scholar but used to stay with my hostel friends and had lunch in hostel mess almost daily.It was tasty, hygenic and nutritional.Rooms were clean and hostel was well maintained.

Alumni network is very strong. people keep in touch and stay ready to help and guide. At many occasions i have seek advice of my seniors and never got disappointed.They even organise alumni meet many times.

Its great. semester system in all subjects we get 8 questions out of which we need to attempt 5.plus we have internal exams before every semester exams.

Faculty was very experienced and able.there were phd scholars as well who took a few subjects.They were all so knowledgeable in their respective fields.
