GITA College Genuine Review!

I have choosen CSE(AIML) at GITA College. I have choosen this course because it has great scope for the future and AI is growing day by day. So I opted for this course. As this college is autonomous, they prepare their own course. The faculty of GITA College is quite supportive and their teaching skills are good. The faculty: student ratio is 2:10.Maximum every teacher has completed PHD and they are very professional in their subject. Their teaching skills are excellent. There are 2 semesters in a year and 2 midterms before every semester. Each semester contains 6 months. Due to the college being autonomous, it is easy to pass in the examination.

The college provides internships after 1st year. Small roles provided like editor etc. We have to do 2-3 coding projects to get good internships. The stipend is about 10k -15k. If we are working in an internship then college will provide you attendance.

Placements are normal in this college. From the 6th semester, students are eligible for placements. The companies that visited our college are Capgemini TCS Tata Tech Mahindra argusoft.90 percent of the students get placed in placements. Highest package-11 LPA. Average Package -4.5 LPA. But the college is bringing the best companies, it depends on the students how they study. After my degree, I am targeting a good job in placements. If I dont get my desired job I will continue for MTECH.

Fees for every cse branch is 1,25,000 per year and for core branches, it is around 80,000 per year (these fees exclude hostel fees). This college provides scholarships according to your caste category. The college management helps you a lot in securing scholarships. It is an odisha government scholarship. I am in my first year right now, so I did not appear for placements. According to this fee structure, the college provides good education at low fees compared to other colleges.

The campus is very beautiful, especially the south block and library. Its infrastructure is awesome. The college area is around 10 acres. The campus life is quite good. But for 1st year students, there is less freedom 1st year students get fewer opportunities. In the month of March, The college conducts an annual fest named "AKANSHA" and a tech fest named "ANWESA" which is conducted after the summer break. The library is the most attractive place in the college. It contains all types of books and journals of every branch. The classrooms are air-conditioned and the amenities of the classroom are normal. The college has a playground, indoor badminton and table tennis. During the rainy season, it is very difficult to play because lots of water is stocked in the ground. The drainage system of the college is not good. There are many groups and clubs like drama club, coding club, dance club

Hostel rooms and bathrooms are good but food is average.But we have to adjust with food because we have come to study not to judge food.Hostel provides study table,chairs and tray.Registration for hostel is simple.The fees for hostel is 65000 per year which we have to pay online.In first year Wifi is not provided in the hostel and there are many restrictions.At this price the hostel is good.

You can join this college in three ways:- 1. JEE councelling 2. OJEE councelling 3. Management Seats You are eligible to join this college when you have passed the 12th board examination. You Can find the application form on the Jossa councelling (jee) website or on the ojee councelling website. Application fees for jee councelling is 40000(general),15000(sc, st) and in ojee its 400 application fees. Application form dates are announced in the month of June or July month. Reservation benefits are applied for sc, st or PH students. The admission process is quite simple and good. I joined GITA College through Ojee counselling. The application process is very easy and we have to do online reporting. The cutoff of this college is around 9 lakh for jee.
