A PEACEFUL PLACE FOR A CHAOTIC COLLEGE

I chose mechanical engineering at KNIT because it has a good record and also many of the alumni of this branch have been placed in different PSUs and cracked gates. Faculty-student ratio in mechanical engineering is quite low but is acceptable. Faculty in mechanical engineering are highly qualified from premier Institutions and they are also good at teaching. Term exams and semester exams are tough but because it is an autonomous college the checking is done in college only unlike other Aktu colleges

From the 5th semester students are eligible to set for the placements and approximately 30 companies visited the college last year the highest package was around 50 to 60 lakh and the lowest was 223 lakh annually the highest average goes for the computer science branch and the lowest for electrical engineering. My plan after I graduate from here is to try for government exams like Gate UPSC etc

The fee structure for all branches other than IT is 67850 academic fees annually. Per semester match fees are 20000 and hostel fees are 10000 annually. Hike policy has not yet been in this college right now and opportunities for scholarship and financial stability are good as it provides scholarships to students. Companies here come for placement but there is a cache in it the location of the college has a disadvantage for being in a rural area.

Life is the campus is improving gradually The annual fest conducted in this college is named Anubhuti and the tech fest is called effulgence. Generally, it is conducted in the month of Feb. Classrooms are highly equipped with AC and seminar halls also there is a good library but it is small. The college has also conducted an annual sports fest branch and there are lots of extra curricular activities also which enable students to perform in all the directions. Literary Council Cultural Council and more like this council are run by students from different field Also college runs are NGO named Koshish to teach poor students

In case of hostels I will be saying it is not up to date but has enough facilities and new renovation is going on. For initial to year maths food is not good enough but for the last two it is been above average

The eligibility criteria for this college were previously selected from the UPSEE examination but from 2021 my batch onwards it was shifted from the rank in JEE mains so according to the JEE main rank the cut-off will be decided. After you get the rank you have to apply on the Upcet website which conducts the counselling process for all the private and Government colleges in UP and then conducts different rounds of counselling to select the appropriate college. Please be wear of the dates of counselling As given on the website as it keeps on updating and special counselling rounds are also conducted. The fee for applying application is approx 1000. Improvement as concerned can be of the process of counselling ground and locking seats and after payment of the seat.
