- Coe branch has 900 student intake it is not good.
- The competition is very high for societies placements.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose ENC because I wanted to go for the tech and coding scene ENC is one of the oldest and best branches here at Thapar and has almost the same placement as Coe the faculties are good and help with queries either in class or out of class.
Internships Opportunities
Good internship opportunities companies like JP Morgan, Deshaw, Goldman Sachs, Amazon, Oracle, and many more come here for an internship but the major setback is that the CG cutoff is very high around 9 so it is not that good.
Placement Experience
From 6th sem students become eligible for campus placement around 150 to 200 companies regularly visit the college and around 90 percent is the placement and average package is good if you get a decent CG you will surely get a good package.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yeah, fees are quite high it costs around 25 to 28 links of 4 yrs but there are many scholarship opportunities given by colleges for students to excel in academics and get a chance at a scholarship the incentive is quite good as 50 to 100 percent tuition fees.
Campus Life
The annual fest is Saturnalia and there is a big food fest known as Thapar food festival the library is one of its kind and very nicely maintained and books are very sufficient for students to learn sports and extracurricular is very decent here you get every sports facility and over 50 societies are there.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel is pretty good they are like according to your choices if you want none you can opt for it and if you want the same, the food is pretty good you get all kinds of cuisines and the mess is very hygienic.
Admission
I was admitted through jee mains percentile I got 94.1 percentile and got into the Electronics and Computer branch ENC. Reservations of the home state are 50 percent here so that's a con of the clg. Fees are slightly higher than other clogs but placements are good.
