Course Curriculum Overview
Each year we have 2 semesters. I chose this course because I was interested in sailing and there are lots of opportunities in the future. One can apply even for the Indian Navy. Faculty members are mostly chief engineers and captains.
Internships Opportunities
For Internship opportunities, we go to workshops and ship dockyards Onboard training is given in ship dockyards and workshops. Certificates are given by reputed workshops which helps in placement. We get a hand in skills and experience.
Placement Experience
Students are eligible from 3rd year for placements. Reputed shipping companies visit our campus every year placement record is best. Everyone gets placed. placement percentage is almost 100. My plan is to sail onboard.
Fees and Financial Aid
Each year we have to pay 225000 rupees. Many scholarships are provided based on scores, and reservations. we get placement on our campus. Many shipping companies visit and take our campus cadets. Girl cadets also get special reservations in placement.
Campus Life
We have four houses and many committees. Our campus conducts cultural, technical, literary, and photography events. we have sports tournaments. we conduct an annual fest namely "Prayaan" every year. we have recreation rooms and ac library.
Admission
I appeared for IMUCET. I found this in a newspaper and checked on the website. I have no reservations. My rank was 72 in IMU CET. After the entrance exam, I went through the counseling process. For the IMUCET exam, PCM is compulsory.
