Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course as this allows us to sail through different countries. And earn a proper pay package. The faculty are all well experienced in the marine field. All are retired, chief engineers and captains.
Internships Opportunities
The students are taken to Mazagaon dock for training. The students are experienced with the machinery and situations. The students are given projects based on their place of interest. The students are given stipends depending on their work
Placement Experience
Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester. The companies would be visiting and taking eligible students after an interview. MSc, fleet, and synergy are a few companies that visit frequently. Every year more than 95% of students get placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
There's no hike in fees once you join and confirm your admission. The total cost for 4 years would be 9 lakh. And the semester exam fees should be paid separately during exams. No scholarship for B.Tech students in IMU
Campus Life
The campus is not that extraordinary when compared to other private B.Tech colleges. Life is so disciplined and should be according to the rules to comply with DGS. No shore leaves regularly
Admission
The entrance test is IMU-CET to acquire admission into these colleges. The application would be available on the IMU website. I did not avail of any reservation benefits. The admission process is absolutely transparent and clear
