From My childhood, I have liked coding, I want to be a Software Developer. That's why I choose B.Tech in Computer Science. Our faculty at Heritage Institute of Technology is very good, They are very helpful to students. Our Practical labs are excellent. The student ratio of our department is Male: Female ( 60: 40 ). The Teaching method of our Professors is very good. They always help us with theoretical and practical subjects. In the btech course, there are CA1, CA2 CA3, and CA4 exams. And if any students study properly, they can easily pass their exams

Anyone can apply for an internship on Linkedin, Intershala, indeed.com, Naukri. com etc. Every student will have to do Major and Minor projects in every semester exams. It is very important for every student to get a job easily.

Our Placement is undoubtedly very good. From the Last year of Btech, everyone is eligible to appear for placements. TCS, Capgemini, Microsoft, IBM, Wipro, L&T and many other companies visited our college. Any student can apply for every exam. The highest package of our college is 36 Lakhs per annum and the average Package is 5 to 6 lakhs per annum. The percentage of students getting placement is 100 %. My plan after the degree is to appear in the GATE exam and then I will pursue Master's from a recognized University.

Heritage Institute of Technology is one of the best private colleges in West Bengal. It is very Liable. Admission fees are 75,000 and per semester is around 46,000 to 50,000. Students can apply for Swami Vivekananda Scholarship and Oasis Scholarship. Campusing is very good in our college. TCS, Capgemini, Microsoft, and many more companies are the mass recruiter.

The annual fest in our college in not been held for the last 2 years. So the annual fest is not so good. Basically, they conduct Fest during Winter in the month of December/ January. Our Library is one of the best libraries. We can get any books in our college. Annual Sports are also held in our colleges. Everyone participates in this programme. Many clubs are there in our college like singing club, dancing club, coding club, debate club, sports club etc. Our campus is very big around 10 acres.

I have applied for the JELET examination. Any diploma students of government / private colleges can apply for this examination. On the JELET website, anyone can apply for this exam. After this exam, students can able to appear in the WBJEE JELET counselling process. They will be able to get their B.tech colleges on their rank basis. Lower rank can get high chances to get into Government colleges like Jadavpur University, Kalyani Govt. Engineering College, Jalpaiguri Government Engineering College. But I think it will be better if WBJEE board increase the seating capacity for lateral entry, it will be helpful for every lateral entry student.
