My College Story

I chose this course because I had an interest in computer engineering. All the faculties as I observed are disciplined, down to earth, and very helpful and supportive, you can feel free with them. Also, the teaching is project and practical-oriented mostly and all their teaching skills are good. However, some are boring too. All faculties have good qualifications like Ph.D., MSc, etc. There are two semesters every year and each semester has two main exams i.e. in-sem exam and the end-sem exam of moderate difficulty.

Many companies that visit college come with Internship + PPO. The roles depends on which stream you belong to and the company's requirement. The avareage stipend is 7k-10k. We have a major project to do. I do MERN stack and its outcome is understanding MERN stack technologies and developing websites smoothly.

Placements start from the 7th semester. However, frequency increases during June-August in 4th year. There are hundreds of companies visiting campus with giants like Nvidia, BlackRock, Deutsche Bank, and many more but each student can only make one offer. If you get one offer you are out of the placement activity. The highest package offered as I remember is by Nvidia i.e. 33LPA and the average lies from 5-7 lpa. The placement percentage as per last year's record is 85% - 90%.

Fees for open candidates are 160000 per annum, 90000-95000 for obc and ews candidates, and 5000 for SC, ST. If you get selected in tfws scheme your annual fee is 25000 only which is mine as well. Scholarship majorly is mahadbt, others I am not aware of. They lack financial assistance. A job that I got has a stipend of 20000. I will start my internship in Jan 2024.

The annual fest we have is Gandharva which lasts for 7 days. but monthly many hackathons keep on going because we have many clubs here. Library facilities are also very good. Anyone in college can read books whenever they want following a few guidelines. Very good and big Classrooms with Wi-Fi availability projector and A.C. in some too. we also have got many sports in college, however, the ground is a bit small and inter-branch, inter-college competitions are arranged frequently. Many groups in college are run by students like I2IC for placement queries, EDC, NSS, etc.

Admission was done through the mhtcet exam score through the mahacet counseling process. The admission process was smooth I would say and dont need any changes. However, I think they should provide no-cost emi options as well. and opted for the tfws scheme and cutoff for the computer dept. tfws was 96 percentile I guess. There was no application form filled out after cet counseling. Reservation benefits are mentioned on the college website.
