Course Curriculum Overview
I had also applied for EnTC but its cut-off was high. So I got a Mechanical branch. Faculties in the stream are highly qualified and cooperative as well. Their teaching is also very good and easy to understand. There are two exams per semester in-sem and end-sem and they are of easy to moderate difficulty level.
Internships Opportunities
Companies for mechanical are Ansys, Tata Technologies, Forbes Marshall, Eaton, and many more. And we also get to sit for tech companies sometimes. Roles differ according to companies' requirements and branches of students. The stipend is between 5k- 10k. You can do industry projects by contacting your teachers which adds value to your resume.
Placement Experience
Placements start from 3rd year last semester. But more companies started visiting from June last year. Till now we have had 50 companies visit for a mechanical branch like Tata technologies, forbes marshall, Eaton, etc. The highest package this year is 13LPA by Ansys. The average package is from 4-6 lpa. And students getting placements are 85%. I will do a job after college.
Fees and Financial Aid
I got admission under tfws schemes I have to pay 25000 Rs per year otherwise for open it is 167000 Rs per year, for obc, it is 97000, and for SC, ST it is 4000 only. The scholarship is only by mahadbt and it is not applicable to tfws students. I am in my final year yet to get a job but doing an internship with a stipend of 5000.
Campus Life
The main fest is Gandharva held in January. It is 1 week long. Also, other tech fests and hackathons, and branch-related fests are conducted frequently. The library is well maintained and you get any book also the digital library is present. Classrooms are also very big and well maintained also they have projectors, wifi, and a.c . in some classrooms. The college sports ground is not big but we have many sports competitions held every year between branches and colleges. We have MESA club, I2ICC, EDC, and many more run by students.
Admission
Admission was done by mhtcet score by counseling round and the process was good also. You get college by cet score and counseling after that no need for any other application form. Reservation for OBC, SC, and ST candidates, and also they have concessions in fees. Also, there is tfws scheme. I think no need to improve in process. It is good by my thoughts.
