The place which changed my life

The management is like not so good and not so bad... Lot of things can be changed for the betterment of the college..

I was selected from WBJEE. i ranked at around 33000 and got a chance to get admission to this college.. I was very happy to be selected for joining this college because it is one of the finest college in kolkata

The course curriculum is fairly good.. the college is under the techno india group of college.. and like all of them which are in west bengal it follows the MAKAUT syllabus... The course is not so good... It can be good if the MAKAUT administrators do something good...

No the college doesn't provide internships.. one have to apply by his/her own.. there are no facilities of internships... Which is a drawback of this college..

The placements of this college have been gradually decreased from the last couple of years. The mass recruiter is TCS.. most of the eligible students wait for TCS but for the last few years the number of placed students have been decreased... Some companies like JCI amazon offers placement.. but one or two students get placed in these companies.

We have a technical fest called Avenir... Which held on 14th to 16th April every year. it is the grandest festival which our college hosts per year. other than it there is a cultural fest called Mesmerizer.. and another small fest called Avahan.. each of the departments has their own reunion programs.. among them the Samhar is the grandest.. which is organized by the EIE students.

As I said before it follows the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology or the MAKEOUT.. NSEC follows all the fee structure... It is feasible... It is not so high... But sometimes the college charges some extras for the dress and bags for the students.

They college doesn't offer any kind scholarships for boys... But it offers scholarships for girls... The college helps the students with the loan facility with the help of the Punjab National Bank...

In a line the college campus life us good.. the gender ratio is almost the same.. but the problem is in the mentality of some of the students.. every year we had a month or two of sport activities... there are no such politics... But there is a conflict between the bengali students and the bihari students

There is no hostel facility in this college... But there are lots of mess around the college... Some of them are cheap and some of them are of high standards.. students stay there as they can afford... But the bad thing is the quality of food and water..

Every year each of the departments organises a alumni meet... Where the passed out student come to there old college to cherish their beautiful memories which they had with their batch mates.

The exam structure is followed by the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology or the MAKAUT.. NSEC follows all the schedule... Although it is chilled out in the first couple of months of a semester.. but in the last 2 months of the semester the life of the students gets really tough because of the assignments, labs, manual writing, projects etc.

As soon as the counselling was done I got the admission letter from the joint entrance board.. then I contacted the college and they asked me to come on the particular date when the admission was going to take place.. then the rest of the procedure was very easy.. everything was taken care by the staffs...

The faculties are well enough... But the student to teacher ratio is not so good... But most of them are very helpful.. they always help their students... But like every institution some faculties are not so good... Which can be taken care by the college authority...
