Course Curriculum Overview
I liked this course since I had an interest in all the subjects. It appeared the best course for me. All the faculty are from either the top reputed colleges of North campus and some of them have completed their Ph.D. from IITs too. Some faculty have their own unique style where they prefer to focus on practical skills. For every 10 students, there is 1 teacher available. Term exams are after 3.5 months and they are easy to pass. Just focus on classes and study the recommended books. There are times when teachers don't take classes and that's the only con.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee hike is real, there has been almost an increase of 1000rs since last year. Unfortunately, since I'm in my second year right now I haven't had the opportunity to intern anywhere. Although DU has started its own internship scheme, the VC internship scheme. Also, there are many scholarships offered by DU, check the official website for more details.
Campus Life
All of the colleges of DU held their fest during the month of January - February. It's really enjoyable. The college fest usually lasts for 3 days including cultural competitions and DJ night. All of the college societies also held their own annual fest around this time. There's not much popular society in this college. The books are old editions in the library. All of the societies' details are available on the college websites and Instagram pages.
Admission
I took the cuet exam in 2022. It was quite easy. All the questions came from NCERT class 12th. Since I'm a biology student equally passionate about both botany and zoology, I opted for Life Sciences. The eligibility for this course is that you should have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in classes 11 and 12. Just go to the NTA website, choose the Cuet examination form, and fill out the form. The registration process starts in March and the exam is usually conducted from May to June. It's a good initiative taken by UGC and with each passing year, we will get to see more talented youth.
