What Students Say

Likes

Course Structure as it is constantly updated with respect to what the industry needs and changes in the curriculum.
Club Activities as there are many clubs in our college I myself have participated in AVISHKAR which is a cultural club and in VISHWARACERS which is a F1 student level technical club which gave excellent exposure and experience to me.

Dislikes

For mechanical department the software and the Computer lab for the operation of CAD software and other designing software needed for mechanical engineering course are not up to date.
More facilities and proper funding are still not provided for the clubs and more facilities are still not added even after paying so much fees.

Course Curriculum Overview

As it my college is autonomous but under the S.P.P.U the course is updated every year and there is NAAC and NBA visit every 2 years which review the whole college. The exams syllabus and pattern is there on online website.It has combined passing of internal and the insem and endsem exam.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 180000 per year

Internships Opportunities

DASSAULT system, Atlas Copco, INVIDIA , and many other companies are there which provide internship opportunities through their projects that are done by group of students and a prof who guides and assigns them to the group.

Placement Experience

There is campus placement available in my college but I intend to give CDS exam so not interested in placement.For Mechanical this year about 80% of the final year students got placements such as Atlas Copco, INVIDIA , DASSAULT and other companies are there as well.the highest package was of 14 LPA for mechanical student in INVIDIA this year.

Fees and Financial Aid

All the fees are to be paid for the whole year at once before the year starts. There are lot of opportunities for scholarship but no financial assistance for OPEN category and there are no campus jobs as far as I know.

Campus Life

Campus is good considering the sports facilities along with the ground. There are lots of clubs in which anybody from clg can participate and there are total of 5 buildings for different branches of B.Tech. There are specific libraries for each branch in their specific department and also there is a digital library accessible for students.

Admission

I took MHT-CET then filled the online form for clg and the course I was interested in after which the CAP round was announced and the clg was announced. Then I had to go and confirm my seat and pay the full first year fees.

AS FOR PLACEMENT , TNP TRIES REALLY HARD TO GET STUDENT PLACED. MULTIPLE COMPANY VISIT THE CAMPUS. NAMELY INFOSYS, ACCENTURE, COGNIZANT, TCS, CAPEGEMINI, AMDOCS, HCL, TECH MAHINDRA, ETC MULTUPLE APTITUDE ASSESMENT AND CODING ASSESMENT ARE CONDUCTED BY COMPANIES. MANY STUDENT GET PLACED AT AVERAGE OF 4.5 . OFFER ARE LIKE 3LPA, 3,5LPA.4,5LPA, 7LPA, MAX 9LPA OR THIS YEAR BUT STILL IN MY OPNION STUDENT ARE NOT PUTTING ENOUGH EFFORT IN THEIR PLACEMENT DRIVES AND HAVE VERY CASUAL ATTITUDE. SO PERCENTAGE IS AROUND 40% AND I'LL NOT BLAME COLLEGE FOR THIS PERCENTAGE ATLEAST NOT TNP, CUZ FOR SOME REASON STUDENT ARE CLEARING FAILING HERE AS FOR ME I'M PLANNING FOR FURTHER STUDIES

There are placements in the college, but the company select only few like from hundreds they select only 9 to 10 students which are capable enough according to the standard who have done internships and have some experience in their field as the companies don't want to teach them from the starting

College review for better selection for better opportunities in future

Placement Experience:

From 4th Year students are eligible for campus placements. The companies that visites my college campus are accenture, capgemini, tcs and many more . The highest package students get places are 12-14 Lakhs per annum and average pakage is around 4-5 lakhs per annum . The percentage of students get places is around 60-80% and majority of them are from CE and IT . Many of them try to get placed from off campus due to their desired companies they want to join or they want more packages

SAKEC- best college ever

Placement Experience:

Sakec have many job/internship opportunities. The college provides different trainings and intership opportunities. Currently, in 2023-24, 42 students have alreday been placed with 25 LPA (highest CTC offered). College have tie-up with many reknowed companies. The highest salary package offered is 24 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA. My plan after getting the degree of bachelor of engineering is to go for masters and acknowledge more and more knowledge in engineering filed. And be my level best. I'm also looking forward for opportunities to go abroad for my mtech degree. Future my expectations form college are High. I'm sure being a student of such prestigious college with help me alot.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I have genuine interest in civil engineering. The faculty student ration is 1:50. Our faculties are well qualified they are master's degree holders in design and structural engineering. Some of them are PhD holders and many of them have done their master's from NIT and IIT. Term exams are scheduled after every 2 months. it is easy to pass because it consists of 30 marks only.

It is a great college for learning

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'm choosing this course because I'm interested in programming languages. Faculty members here are at the best level. They are very supportive and knowledgeable. They made lectures most interactive. All faculty members are well-qualified and experienced. The course is very vast but the teaching faculty cover it through their extra lectures and practicals.

Best in the neighborhood, convenient to reach , easily accessible for all the student's , good faculty and good quality of education, amenities available are great along with the essential facilities. Exposure to national level competitions along with the motivation to attempt them.Practical knowledge is also provided with the theoretical knowledge

VIIT -a good option?

1) I applied to VIT pune ,COEP pune ,PICT pune,CUMMINS ,PCCOE . I didnt get these colleges because i didnt have percentile for merit for that college i had 95.84 percentile and their cutoff for CS branch was 97 at that time which was difficult for me . 2)students can enroll in our college using MHTCET and JEE mains score .Through cet cell there are cap rounds total three and last one spot round (may have changed now).Apart from this there are no tests or exams to get an admission in this college...Read More
