Course Curriculum Overview
Electrical engineering being a circuital branch has a wide range of possibilities ahead. It can also be considered as evergreen branch whose demand is atleast not going to end soon. Faculty here are PhD professionals but some might not like the teaching methodologies as it is quite different from the regular schooling/coaching methodologies. Term exams are strictly followed and on basis of regular intervals to check learning process. It is pretty easy to pass the exams if someone only pays attention in class or refer to notes by professors.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees structure is divided into blocks depending on family income.(Can check on official website as it changes each year) One can avail fee waivers, MCM scholarship, and other aids by submitting valid certificates and documents like income certificates. Internships and placement record of the institute is pretty much satisfactory and appealing.
Campus Life
Khanan the largest geo mining fest.Concetto the techno management fest.Srijan the cultural fest are the major fests of college. Except these minor fests and events are conducted on regular basis by different clubs and societies of the college. The central Library is one of the largest technical libraries of Asia. The institute has ample amount of events running throughout the days including extra curricular activities and sports including all the facilities. Name a hobby and you can find a club related to it where you can join with like minded people to build upon your interest and explore.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel rooms are pretty small for 1st yearites with double occupancy but 2nd year onwards one would get spacious rooms. Hostel is regularly cleaned and sanitised by specific authorities. Meal quality and variety is quite basic you would miss home cooked food real bad and would take time to adjust but quite hygienic and can be considered nutritious enough. One would not fall ill after eating in mess.
Admission
For B.Tech programs eligibility is 12th pass or equivalent from recognised board. To apply candidate must qualify JEE mains and appear for JEE advanced in order to join this institute. Based on the CRL(Merit list/rank) admission process starts through josaa counselling.
