The infrastructure of our college is good.
We have the best library in whole delhi university.

Dislikes

We don't have air conditioners in our class canteen and library.
The sport complex of our college isn't connected with college so that was hard to find.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose that course because i like the calculation and i am a commerce student i have only few choices of course selection so i choose b.com . I don't know about other course student numbers but in my batche there are 155 students and they were divided in tow sections. section A have 65 students and section B have 90 students. The college facilities are good our college have the best library in whole delhi university and the teaching method of teacher was also good they teach us in essay language that we can understand easily. The ecam was held 2 times a year 1st exam for semester 1st students and 2nd for semester 2 students. The 1st exam was held on December to November the they start the 2nd semester after 6 months the 2nd exam starts.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 19605 per year

Internships Opportunities

We have many companies for the placement and currently i am doing a unpaid internship for experience with aashman foundation an ngo I am doing a human resource internship in that i have to take interviews of those who was interested in our NGO's work.

Placement Experience

Currently i don't know about any placement or any eligibility of the placement but our college give the placement and if i can't get the placement then i will apply of all government jobs exam and i want the job for bank manager.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure have 3 parts of fees payment for b.com students we study 3 years for a undergraduate degree and we have to pay 19605 rs per year for get the degree and the college offer us the internships during the session and for our experience improvement. Currently i don't know about any scholarship and job And i don't apply for any financial assistance.

Campus Life

Currently i don't know about the annual fest an tech fest of the college because i joined the college last month. According to studies of all over Delhi university our collage have the best library in Delhi universities. Our all classrooms have a projector and teachers teach us with that it was esay to learn with a big screen and we also have 5-8 computer labs in our college. We have the sports complex and we can play there games like cricket,football,basketball,volleyball etc. We have dance society music society and many types of societies in our collage.

Admission

I got the admission through a entrance exam called c.u.e.t for colleges. I fond The exam forms online and it was released on 20 march 2023 and i pay 1300 rs for 5 subjects. I got low marks in cuet but i got the benefit of reservation i got 305 marks out of 800 but i applied the sc quota. The process of the cuet take a long time in the future i want to see that the process will take the short amount of time.

Shyam lal college not on my wishlist

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

There is a proper placement cell for this which is very active. Prepare for government exams (SSC, UPSC, etc.) Go for higher education (PG, B.Ed., MBA, etc.) Enroll in skill-based or professional certification courses outside college

Dyal Singh College: The Good, The Bad and The Confusing

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Honest review of SLC

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.

It's a decent college, but better than many other colleges

DU intakes admission on the basis of CUET UG exam, and then there's the reservations for all categories, so basically your admission is based on the CUET marks and reservations, and then you get a chance to make a preference list of colleges and courses and then DU allots you a seat based on your preference list and your marks as per category....Read More

Admission are through UG CUET and a score of 600-620 our of 800 is usually the cut-off for Shivaji College, Delhi. Not so good Not so bad

I already know about CUET because in my school some teachers came to our school to guide us about CUET .So after my 12th i started preparing for CUET as I already fill the form before my boards on CUET SAMARTH and the application fee was around 1500 for 7 subjects and it differ how many subject u have chosen then after my boards CUET exam date has been came and admit card also a.Then I gave my exams but the exam centre were not so good they were like so far and the area around the centre was not that great.After that I fill the form for DU admission on CSAS portal and it costed around 250 for SC and I gues for general it was about 500.Then CSAS portal has three application phases 1st is for the normal application form,2nd phase is for the reservation and 3rd is for the preference filling and then u wait for the result.And in 1st round I got PGDAV but I upgraded and got Shivaji college which is near to my home and I got botany hons in that....Read More
