Remarks

Management wise college is good.but when it comes to punctuality of teachers i t is somewhat bad. Some people are very responsible and some are ignoring. Means they work like working in any government office.

Entrance Preview

I had given MHTCET and scored 160 out of 200. I am naturally interested in electronics so I choosed electronics and telecommunication .I got 160 out of 200.I belong to OBC so I got it easily.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Speaking honestly college course structure is good but not comparable to iits also there is very low scope for research work .For acquiring practical knowledge this place is good.Instruments in practical lab are ok means don't expect some hifi things.

Internships Opportunities

Yes.after second and third year many companies offer internship to students.some are TATA motors, TCS,supriya etc. Most of companies do not offer stipend.but it is good opportunity for career as engineer.

Placement Experience

3.5

Placement wise coep is good. Coep brand name is so good that many companies came for placement.i am currently in first year entc. Almost 95% of our seniors got placed in companies with average package being around 4 lakhs.highest package offered is 17 lakh from deshaw and lowest package offered is 2.5 lakhs.

College Events

5

There are four big events organised every year. Mind spark a technical event.many competition are organised in which students from various colleges take part. Another such big event is impressions cultural event.many cultural activities are organised in which many students from college take part.also there is annual social gathering in which many cultural as well as technical events takes place apart from this there is also one intercollegiate sports festival called zest held in March.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is feasible.for open category it is 85000 per year for b tech course and 42000 for obc category.sc and st it is around 10000. For hostel fees is 25000 per year with deposits of rs 5000 and mess bill is around 2000 per month with deposits of rs 5000 .

Fees and Financial Aid

When you are in coep money is not a big issue. There are many private scholarship offered like vinod joshi foundation scholarship, Schindler scholarship etc. Also college has it own SBI branch which provides loan to students after some formality.

Campus Life

3.5

Campus life is awesome. Gender ratio is 60 : 40 from male dominant side. There are around 65 clubs in coep . Lot of chance to develope our extra skill according to our interest.as this is a government institution many students are from middle-class family. There are major 4 events organised every year . 1. Mind spark is technical event.2.impression is a cultural event.3.annual social gathering 4.zest is sport festival.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel is very good facilities are awesome . There is nothing to complaint about . Food quality is also good. If best hostel campus gets 10 star then coep hostel easily get 9 star.there is no issue regarding availability of seats if you are female but for male candidates there is competition based on your academic performance.or you have to look for private hostel which are little bit more costlier than hostel .

Alumni/Alumna

Yes COEP has strong network of alumni and senior student. Every year there is get together and interactive session of alumni. Some alumni provides scholarship to needy students.

Exam Structure

Labs are chilled because practical knowledge is always very interesting.for exams it depend on person.for me exams are like tension. But if studied properly there is no need to be tensed.there is continuous evolution system adopted by college.test 1and test 2 each of 20 marks and end sem exam of 60 marks . Test papers are quite easy as compared to end sem exam. Also if you want to score and maintain good cgpa you have study continuously and perform well in each exam.

Admission

When result realised I downloaded the PDFs of previous year admission list. And checked rankwise admission list.according to that analysis i decided my course names which I have to fill in application form. There were total 4 rounds of seat allotment.after each round we have to confirm of float the allowed seat. And if we have to confirm. It is necessary to visit college and confirm admission once again.

Faculty

2.5

Some faculties are very good they always interested to share knowledge outside the class hours. But some are very boaring. Almost all faculties are highly qualified.everyone have Knowledge but some don't know how to express it.after that only one option remains to students that is self sTudy.
