Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because from chilhood it is my dream to become doctor. There is no one doctor in my family. So i want to become one. In one subject we have atleast 7-8 faculty members.One of them is Head of Department. Our batch consists of 150 students. After update of curriculum by NMC, there is lot of new things like small group discussion, where students divided into small groups (30 students) and interactive class is talen by one teacher. All faculty in our college is wellqualified and well experienced.All have different teaching technique which makes us understand difficult topic eadily There are 3 terms and one university examination taken in every year. Different terms exam have gap of approx 2-3 months. These exams in our college taken regularly. It was very difficult to pass in exam if u dont read whole year.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is no fees hike policy in our college. Fees is aame for all years that is 10,83000 every year . I didn't get any scholarship. After 4th year we get one year intership in our own hospital with no stipend
Campus Life
In our college there are different commitee which help in conduction of different fest (ex. Cultural committee, sports committee ) So about in one year we have 2 cultural fest and lots of different games organized by different committee like (kbc, halloween hunt) which is played by students as well as by our teacher. Every year,there is interbatch tournament organized by sports committee in different games like basketball, cricket, football etc. There is different group like anti ragging group which consist of teacher and students, etc
Admission
To get any medical colleges in India we have to give NEET examination which is conducted by NTA through different counselling like state counselling, all india counselling.I got SS Institute of Medical science,Davangere in mop round of KEA(Karnataka examination authority )counselling in year 2020. Its application dorm is available after approx 1 month. I guess application fees is about 2000. KEA counseeling is very transparent as it regularly updates how many seats are vacant in diffetent colleges. At KEA website we can see the institute fees as well as hostel fees . I didn't avail any reservation benifits as it is only applicable for Karnataka students .
