Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because I have a core interest in computer science. Also, the near future is all about technology. Also, the placement is high in computer science and engineering. The faculty is not that good. They have much knowledge but the teaching style is not appreciable. Exams are a bit late compared to other colleges and it is not that difficult to pass but quite difficult to pass with good marks.
Placement Experience
From the 6th semester, students are eligible for placement. Many mass recruiters and startups come to recruit employable students. As it is a tier 3 college no MNCs come here. Many companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, Capgemini, and cognizant come here. This year the highest package was 45 lacs from off campus and 14 lacs from Incampus. And the average package is around 4.5 lacks. Around 90% of students get placed through the campus placement. I plan to go for an MBA after this course.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is not that high compared to other colleges. But nowadays the fees are getting high. We get scholarships from the state government also the college provides us with scholarships.
Campus Life
There is a huge annual fest and tech fest conducted on our campus. The annual fest is called Reviera and the tech fest is called Prayukti. Many celebrities and singers were invited to our college at that time. There is a dedicated building for the Library. Where you can find any academic book. But unfortunately, there is less nonfictional book in the library. Many sports are played on our campus. Also, the annual sports day is held. Many tournaments like cricket, football, volleyball, and basketball are also held on our campus. There are many societies and NGOs in our college where any student can actively participate and showcase their talent.
Admission
I got admission through the WBJEE exam. You can get it if your rank is under 8000. Reservation is available. Many of my friends get many benefits like lower college fees. I want to see improvement in the behaviour of the staff.
