Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course I took was helpful to my future studies and the best decision was to opt for this college. The faculty we got was awesome. All the subjects had teachers with good eligibility and they would teach the students in a good manner. Students would enjoy with studies And the student-teacher ratio was also good like may be one 20 students there was one teacher available as a mentor and everything. All the faculty members had a minimum of two degrees some teachers also had done their PhD and written all the exams to be qualified as teachers B. Ed was the one degree that almost all teachers had. Teachers made ppt classes and notes were provided on time no remarks on that point Exams were conducted on a semester basis and importantly before writing semister exams, we had to go through internal exams which were conducted before semester exams which had 3 components that were written exams, MCQ and assignments passing was not that difficult.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Several companies came to our campus like Infosys, Wipro, optimum solutions, spiders Syska, winman etc and there were a lot of internships provided in Industries etc where they gave certificates on the completion of the course. There were projects given to students where they had to go and interview some people and write a report. I had one project where I had to interview one lady about waste management skills and it was a wonderful experience I became very knowledgeable

Placement Experience

3

From the last two semesters that is from the 5th and 6th semester, students will be eligible for placements. And for placements, we particularly had our placement officer Many companies visited our campus like Infosys, Spider, Optum Solutions, etc and so many students got placements The average package that can be expected will be around 3 lakh per annum and highest can be anything Around 50 per cent of students will be placed in the best companies throughout the country My plan is to pursue further education and then get settled in life

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees were not soo much compared to some other colleges it was average we had like 25000 per year and some extra we had to pay for uniforms when we joined and for each semester we had to pay like 1500 for exams for examination fees. Other than that college didn't demand any money it was really good. Many scholarships were provided to students who came from economically poor backgrounds and all. Also, the College would provide scholarships to the students who would score merit marks.

Campus Life

3.5

Every year we had a national-level fest called Agno Fest. Which was the greatest fest which was celebrated with lots of joy and happiness all the students would wait for that fest to happen. It would usually be conducted from November to December and also in December there would be a charity fest called Navidad from which the money collected would be given to one of the students or the staff members who is living in critical economic condition. It was celebrated on the occasion of Christmas. The library is soo big and contains all kinds of books with modern technology. There are computers available in the library if some books want to be searched if u enter the title of the book it can be found. And it's a very good place for studies Classrooms were provided with fans, tables and chairs PPT projectors are also there. Every year sports day will be celebrated and every year it will be done uniquely and Marchfasting will be mandatory. There are many clubs in college.

Admission

I applied to this college a little bit late because it was in the year when there was the COVID pandemic across the world but the college authority was great even though I was delayed in applying I got a seat. The admission process was easy I didn't have to write any entrance exam and all. It was just an interview with the vice principal. Firstly put application was easy the application was available on their College website which was easy to find and we had to pay a registration fee which was around 500 Rs. I didn't get any reservation seats. Admission was quite easy at St Agnes college only drawback I felt was all the candidates had to wait for a very long duration just to get the interview.

From final year the students can apply for the placements. At least 60% should be there to be eligible for the placement. Many companies provides placements in this college like infosys, Accenture, Mahindra and many more. The average package as per the company is 200000 per annum and the highest package is 700000 per annum. My plans after getting the degree is to go to abroad for my post graduate.

Placement Experience:

Usually there are placements in our college. If any student does not get a placement the faculty guide us what we can do next like the companies in which we can apply and how we can go further. In my course after finishing the bachelors degree you can further study masters it is available in our college itself or yoj can aplly for companies but if you do your masters you have a better opportunity and high posts for you better career. The course is of 8 semester you become eligible for campus placements in 7th semester. The last year that is seventh and eighth semester is basically practical and lot of projects provided. There various companies are seniors have applied and offered for example the genetic company in Bangalore that is Med gen. The highest package offered is 50000 and the average starts from 25000 placements in college. There is 75 percentage of students getting placements from our college. My plans after getting the degree is to go for further studies and do the masters after that i would like to do job along with my phd, this is my plan after getting my bachelors degree.

Most of the students after completing four years, continue to stay here to get Masters degree after one more year and pursue PhD from world renowned institutions. Very few people (<7/100) per batch will sit for campus placements and most of them will be selected with a good annual package of 30000 at an average. Some students, mostly Physocs majors can give government exams like ICRB, GATE to join ISRO and BARC as scientists

Qualification is good and the teaching method like some lectures is good. Term exams will be after 6 months from starting of sem and it's not as difficult as pu or 10th exams we can easily pass them.
