Course Curriculum Overview
Our course curriculum is up to date and very good. Our faculty members are also good. I choose Btech in Information Technology because now the world is technology-oriented. Everything revolves around the technology. The faculty and student ratio is very good and they can look after the students. The faculty members are well qualified most of them are doing MTech and PHD from premium institutes like NIT IIT. In one semester there are three or four internal exams and one final exam.
Internships Opportunities
The names of the companies are which are offer internships are tcs, wipro, Capgemini, and Accenture. The projects are very industry and you can learn a lot and gain more knowledge from that project and your resume will be better.
Placement Experience
The placement is pretty good. You are eligible for campus placement in the 7th semester. Almost 85 to 90 % are students are placed during the placement seasons. The top recruiter's companies are wipro, tcs, Accenture, PWC, Capgemini etc. The highest package is 12 lakh from on campus and 45 lahks from off campus and the lowest package is 3.2 lakhs. Also, you can do higher education and get ready for competitive exams.
Fees and Financial Aid
Here the course fee is 475000. It is pretty normal but if you not afford this you can take a loan from the bank. you can get an SVMCM scholarship and get 60000 per year and you are only eligible for svmcm if you are in West Bengal domicile.
Campus Life
Tech Fest's name is PRAYUKTI and the annual fest name is RIVERA. This is happened in April. The college library is very big and you can get many books which are in your curriculum and apart from this you also get another book. The sports facilities are also good. Every year different types of sports events happen. Many societies or clubs are there like IETE, IEEE, CSI and many more. Also media club is also there HITIAN INSIDE and The HIT TIMES. You can find all the groups on Instagram by this name.
Hostel Facilities
The hostels are good. Each room have the beds and one bathroom and room are for three students it may be four depending upon the size of the room. The meals are moderate. You can get both vej or non vej options. Also get breakfast and snacks. If you are not interested in hostel you can get rented room easily near college.
Admission
The admission process is very good. You have to take the WBJEE exam after the 12th and from that rank, you can be eligible for this and also get into the college through the JEE MAIN exam rank. You have to go to the official website. Reservation benifits are there but don't know much as I do not fall into any reservation category.
