- Campus size is about 40 acres and it has research facilities
- We got 2 massive playground and a gym and sports culture is very good

- Cante food is not so good. I mean one can only eat this and cannot enjoy
- Class room become very hot during summer and only seniors hot AC in their classroom
- Non Bengali people will have to suffer a lot
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is as described by MAKAUT and the faculty is more than enough to make you understand any topic. They even take doubt classes in case you don't understand any topic. They will provide a mentor for every class so that you don't stuck in anything in college. Every faculty of HIT is well qualified and Cats are held regularly (Class Tests) which are made by your respective subject professor.
Internships Opportunities
Good students get their internships from 3rd year and some exceptional students get their internships from 2nd year also. Internships are sometimes paid and sometimes non-paid. It depends on the student.
Placement Experience
Student can get placed from 3rd year and a lot of companies like Flipkart, Infosys, TCS, and HPL comes to visit our campus. Our college has an average of 6LPA and the highest one got about 27LPA. About 90 to 93 percent of students get placed every year.
Fees and Financial Aid
HIT provides a document by which you can apply education loan at any bank and this document will also avail scholarship if possible. Every year a tons of companies visit the campus of HIT and about 90 to 93 percent of students get placed.
Campus Life
The campus life of HIT Is very beautiful. For a tier 3 college, I got more than expected. Like helpful seniors, a peaceful environment, and In on-campus hostel 24x7 ambulance service. And in the campus restaurant and most importantly my Friends.
Admission
First, we have to give the entrance exam for West Bengal WBJEE. The website is wbjeeb.nic.in. It cost INR 500. This examination is held in the month of April. I would like to suggest that please start counseling a little early after declaring the rank cards.
