College management is undergoing through some internal problems within 2 management groups as i heard in recent news.

I took AIEEE after my 12th examination, despite having a good rank i chose VCER due to its location which coincide with my home location due to some personnel problems i could not leave my home town at that stage so that was the only reason for me to join VCER. In rohtak it was & currently it is the best engineering college so far.

Course curriculum was defined properly at early stage of the course i joined in 2006 and there was quiet good wave of engineering at that time i joined electronics & communication course & the college was very renowned for that course at that time.

College does not provide any internships at any time the students have to arrange internships for them after second year as well as after final semester.

Placement cell of college was not that good at that time & the only company which visited (actually didn't visited the campus, it was a joint venture with 3 other colleges) was Infosys other than that there were 2 other companies which were actually not real companies as they never gave any offer letters to students.

Apart from university fests which were celebrated each year, the college hosts its own techno management fest each year which was the best days for students in a city like rohtak arranging such cultural events was very nice at that time the college has its own auditorium which is a very nice place on its own.

Fee structure at that time was very nominal in comparison to other colleges of same grade per year fees was less than 50k with no additional & hidden costs the college provides scholarships on different grounds such as scholarship to poor students & scholarships to those who did pretty well in their 12th standard.

Campus life very vast campus, its like a small world with in gender ratio pretty decent. 60:40 extracurricular so many fests each year labs good quality sports own sports ground, TT tournaments, volleyball etc debates etc were organised in fests college wins zonal trophy each year.

Girls hostel is situated in the base campus of college where as boys hostel is situated very near to classrooms as college ground is the only thing between them the infrastructure is very nice as the college is built in very big area mess food was bearabl

College arrange its own alumni meet each year but from last 2 year its not happening still college has its own alumni group and facebook page which is very good for alumnis to keep connection with college, staff and seniors as well.

Apart from university exams after each semester, there were so many other with the name "sessionals" which were very helpful in assessing students caliber. Every day students have to attend one or 2 labs which is very helpful for practical knowledge.

Faculty of college is very good for electronics and communication department the experienced staff along with good lab technician offer you a very vast & deep knowledge of the subjects head of department is very knowledgeable persons along with very nice
