I got to meet new friends and living a good life with them
This college has a good placement for cse students
Its library is quite impressive digital library is also available

Dislikes

Teachers sometimes speak in bengali which is difficult for non Bengal
In every events it is hard for you to participate because of politics of bengalis and non Bengalis
This college is very bengali dominated which i don't like

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose CSE because i am interested in computers and a bit and coding i want to learn good skills in this field there are 4 maths teacher for 64 students exam have not happened yet but they take tests vey often

Class Size: 64Course Fees: INR 45000 per year

Placement Experience

Students are placed in 4th year there are some minimum criteria for companies you have to clear that and you can sit in interviews it has a good average pakage of around 6lpa highest on campus was 13-15 lpa

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure is around 45-50k per semester it costs around 4lakh for total course it provides a average pakage of aroung 6 lpa which is decent this college is a bit less expensive as compared to the other private colleges in Kolkata

Campus Life

This college is in Kolkata so it gives a celebration named pathorona around durga puja every year Library is good all books are available the campus is also good many clubs are there to join and it organises sports events very often

Admission

I filled the form of wbjee through its online site,exam happened in Kolkata i prepared for it and got h good rank, afterwards i was waiting for counseling dates,we have register for it got admission in this college

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
