The course curriculum is very good and the faculty members are also very helpful and supportive. They are always ready to help you. The faculty members of physics are very good and they are very knowledgeable.

To get an internship from our college there should be good skills in coding and communication. Communication is a very necessary thing that will help in any internship Wipro Infosys TCS etc are the companies that gives internship opportunity.

Placement Experience

Our college placement starts at last of 3rd year. There are many companies visiting our college just as Wipro, Infosys, TCS, etc. The highest package given by on-campus placement is around 15 lakhs. And the average package is around 5-6 lakhs.

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fee of course is around 4lakhs. There are a lot of job opportunities. You can also get a scholarship here. Around 60k per year who belong to West Bengal and those who belong to Bihar can also apply for a Bihar student credit card.

Campus Life

The college is very good and there are many clubs like sports clubs, poetry club, GDSC, NSS, Roadtrack, etc. And the social life is also good. There are cricket ground football ground, tennis ground, etc & the infrastructure is very good.

Admission

Firstly you have to take Wbjee exam in which you have to score a rank of around 3k to 11k and if you want to get a higher branch like CSE. Then you have to score a good rank around less than 3k. So that you can get it.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
